Operation Take Back in South Harrison, April 26

operation take back webHARRISONVILLE — On Saturday, April 26 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the South Harrison Township Police Department will be hosting “OPERATION TAKE BACK.” The purpose of this event is to enable residents of South Harrison Township the opportunity to dispose their unwanted, unused, and expired medicines.

The mission of the DEA and NJ Division Operation Take Back NJ is to provide a safe and legal method for the citizens of New Jersey to dispose their unwanted, unused, and expired medicines. The goal of the program is to allow the citizens of New Jersey to deliver all of their unused, unwanted, or expired medications to law enforcement officials who can in turn dispose of these controlled substances in a safe and non-hazardous manner, preventing these pills from falling into the hands of juveniles or the illicit market in our communities.

Operation Take Back NJ is not accepting needles.
