WOOLWICH TWP. – Several Woolwich resident won major awards at the OnStage NY Regionals held in Sewell.
Olivia Barnhardt was a member of the musical theater number, “Matilda” which won the prestigious Entertainment Award in the Mini Division. The group is invited to attend the Nationals in Orlando for free.
In addition to that award, the number was second in small mini groups, and seventh of all mini groups. The received judges’ award for Exceptional Energy, Story-telling, and Showmanship.
Barnhardt was also part of the group “Love More”, which placed third in the mini small group division, fifth of all mini groups, and received a Style award
Christina Mallozzi and Rachel Murdock were part of the tap group, “Grown Woman” which received the Entertainment Award for teens and was also invited to Nationals. This group was third in small groups, fourth overall in teen groups, and received a Judges’ Award of Exceptional Energy. Murdock was part of the specialty group, “Little Party”, which placed fourth in small groups, fifth overall in teen groups, and received a Style award.
Murdock placed 20th amongst senior solos with her tap solo, “Right Now”.
