logan policeMarch 10:  Officers charged a 20 year old Bridgeton man with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. The man was processed and turned over to Millville Police on several outstanding warrants.

March 10:  A Logan woman reported that someone removed her New Jersey temporary tag from her vehicle sometime overnight.

March 10:  Police investigated a fight call following a youth basketball game at the Logan Elementary School in which a Mullica Hill man reported being assaulted by two men. The victim suffered a lacerated left ear but he refused medical treatment. Complaints are pending suspect identification.

March 11:  A 26 year old Woodbury man was transported to Inspira following a drug induced disturbance at Taylor Farms on Center Square Road. The man, who admittedly was high on both Percocet and PCP laced marijuana, was acting irrationally and became combative with officers during their field inquiries. Complaints are pending.

March 12:  Officers charged a 25 year old Swedesboro man with shoplifting following an incident at the ACME in which he left the store with $122 worth of merchandise. He was processed and released pending court.

March 13:  Investigators charged a 20 year old Logan man, John Antipuna III, with contempt of a court order following a disturbance at a residence on Nortonville Road.  He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default of $5,000 bail.

March 14:  Officers charged a 20 year old Newark, DE man with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, and failure to surrender following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. He was processed and released pending court.

March 15:  Police charged a 28 year old Woolwich man with DWI following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. He was processed and released pending court.

March 15:  Officers charged a 35 year old Swedesboro man with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on Rt. 322. He was processed and released pending court.

March 15:  A Logan woman reported that her Samsung Galaxy 4 cell phone was stolen when it was left unattended on school grounds.

March 15:  Detectives charged a 39 year old Clementon man with theft following an investigation at CEVA Logistics on Center Square Road. The accused, a contracted truck driver, had been stealing clothing that was destined for various retail stores. He was processed and released pending court.

March 17:  Detectives charged a 35 year old Philadelphia man with theft with fiduciary control following a three month investigation at CEVA Logistics. The man, Peter Perez, stole $73,750 worth of iPads and iPhones. Perez is a former employee who stole the items on various dates beginning in November 2013. A $50,000 warrant has been issued for his arrest.

March 17: Police investigated the theft of 100 gallons of diesel fuel from a truck that had been parked on Killdeer Court over the weekend. The fuel was valued at $412.00.
