Be Prepared: Scouts of Yesteryear Exhibit Extended

scouting webWOODBURY — Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts have been a tradition in America for over a century.  The Gloucester County Historical Society museum is presenting a remarkable exhibit with scouting artifacts from over the decades.

Numerous uniforms, merit badges, equipment, manuals, flags and accessories from the 1920’s on are on display. This exhibit will conclude on Dec. 29, 2014.

Gloucester County Historical Society Museum hours are Mon.-Wed.-Fri. 1-4 p.m., last Sunday of the month 2-5 p.m.  Adult admission $5; children 6-18 years $1; children under 6 free.  Private tours available other days/times.  Located at 58 N. Broad St., Woodbury, NJ  08096.  (856-848-8531).
