HENRY – Arthur W. Henry, 78, passed away March 24, with family by his side. Born in Philadelphia he was a resident of Clarksboro since 1965. “Bud” was an easygoing, humorous caring man who made fast friends with all whom he met. An army veteran stationed at Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn NY he then took up a 45 year-long job with publisher W.B. Saunders in Philadelphia, working his way up from the mailroom to Head of Sales Support. After retirement, not able to sit still long, he worked part time at Target in Deptford until a few years ago. His interests were eclectic, from painting to “Ancient Aliens”.
Predeceased by his wife, Elaine. Survived by his children Scott Henry and Stacey Henry; brother Barry Johnson (Dolly); sister Gail Frank (Howard); and many devoted nieces and nephews.

FISCHERA – Mario Fischera, age 91 died on March 24 at his home in Mullica Hill where he lived since 1997. He was formerly of Landing, NJ. Mario graduated from West Side High School in Newark, NJ and New York University. He worked for the US Government over 42 years, retiring in 1989 from Picatinny Arsenal where he was a Contracting Officer.
He is survived by his wife Helen N. “Peggy” (nee Farley), sister Virginia (Robert) Scolpino of Woodbury, and many nieces and nephews.

RODANO — John W. Rodano, of Mullica Hill passed away suddenly on March 27. Age 70. Beloved husband of Dotty (nee Finnimore). Loving father of AnnaLisa Damminger (Patrick) and Monique Rodano (Brian Barnett). Proud PopPop of Alyssa, Brenna and Celia Damminger. Brother of Salvatore Rodano (Jane) and Joseph Rodano (Carol). Also survived by his mother-in-law Dorothy Finnimore, brother-in-law Robert Finnimore, beloved doggy Lacee, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

WILLIAMS – Eddie A. Williams of Mullica Hill, age 72 departed this life on April 9. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his wife, Juanita Graves Williams; 8 children, Lindy High (Vincent), Tesa Williams Handy Wesley), Tracy Williams (Tammy), David Williams, Deborah Cureton (Rob), Leah Williams, Michael Williams (Regina) Keith Williams, predeceased by daughter, Regina Evans (Bobby); 8 grandchildren.
PETROSKI – Michael John Petroski Jr., age 76, of Bridgeport, Logan Township passed away suddenly on April 10 at home.
He was a resident of Logan Township since 1947 when his parents moved there from Trainer Borough, PA.
He attended Paulsboro High school and entered the U.S. Air Force and returned to work locally for American Dredging Company and other jobs involving heavy equipment operating out of the Operating Engineer office in Camden. He retired in 2002.
Michael is survived by his friends and companion Donna Bauer and by sister Diane Marie Baxter (Charles) of Newark, DE, and brothers Joseph of Corpus Christi, TX and Donald (Mary) of Moorestown, NJ
SCHMIDT – Agnes Schmidt (nee Senges) of Mullica Hill died peacefully on April 11. Aged 83 years
Agnes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, sewing, and gardening. Her family was the center of her life, especially the grandchildren. Sunday dinners and Christmas cookies were a few of the trademark things that set Agnes apart.
Beloved wife of 60 year to Rudolph; loving mother of Barbara (Jim) Kerasiotes, and Harry (Trish) Schmidt; adoring grandmother of John, Stephanie, Alex, Keith, and Kelsey; dear sister of Selma (Adolph) Klettke, Elsa (the late Sam) Tunick, and Ingrid (Bob) Lincoln. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

SCHUHL – Catherine Barbara Schuhl, 51, of Mullica Hill, passed away April 11 at home with her loving family.
Catherine was born on May 27, 1961. She graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School and Rowan University with a degree in Special Education. Catherine was a special education teacher at Fairfield Elementary in Bridgeton. She was predeceased by her parents Eva and Frank. Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, James Schuhl, Jr. and her three children; James III, Patrick and Amanda, her dog Nalla, a sister Elizabeth (Jim and her many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and will always be remembered for her loving personality, positive outlook and her ability to make everyone smile. Cathy really enjoyed traveling the countryside watching her kid’s teams play and will be sadly missed at the tailgates. She loved to eat.

DENHAM – James R. Denham died on April 12, of Logan Twp. Age 63. Beloved father of Raymond Denham and his wife Erica and the late Dawn and Michelle. Devoted GrandPop of Camryn and Raymond. Loving brother of Albert Denham and the late Ronald Denham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
James proudly served his country in the US Navy on a submarine during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid boater and ham radio enthusiast. He graduated from West Deptford High School in 1967.

MARINO – Russell S. Marino, age 63, of Kennett Square, formerly of Swedesboro, died of a heart attack on April 12. He was the son of the late Samuel Marino and Mary Leotta Mario. He was a graduate of Kingsway Regional High school and the RCA Technical Institute for computer electronics. He served in the United States Air National Guard.
Mr. Marino designed, was general contractor, owner and operator of Dog Patch Kennel during his marriage to his first wife, Dawn (Wilson) Marino. He was currently employed by Delaware City Refining, LLC.
Russell is survived by his soul mate and wife of four years, Diane (Cook) Mario, his son, David Marino, his daughter Rose Stein (Ray), hi stepsons Ross (Katie) and Daniel Shacklett and his grandchildren, Jessica and Jake Stein. Russell is also survived by his sisters, Alfina Ringleben (Charlie) and Verna Nankervis (James).
Russell enjoyed ballroom dancing, attending dinner theaters, and especially traveling with Diane. He had a passion for gardening and beautifying his personal yard as well as helping to maintain his neighborhood. Mr. Marino was a great sports enthusiast and could discuss any referee call with any player in any sport with great passion. He enjoyed hunting and donated his venison to feed the hungry. Russell will be missed for his quick wit and sense of humor. He brought love and laughter of his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

GAHRS – Bruce Gahrs. Always a Swedesboro guy at heart, Bruce gave to his neighbors and community throughout his life. He served on the Borough Council, the Planning Board, and was a member of the Swedesboro Lions Club. Bruce was a tax assessor for both Woodstown and Swedesboro. When he was President of the East Greenwich Little League he not only coached and chauffeured his team, but also prepped the fields so the kids would have a place to practice and play. If a TV announcer needed stats on players or teams, Bruce could have been the go to man. He as a walking encyclopedia of sports knowledge.
He was a member of the 1962 graduating class of Swedesboro High School. He then went to Rutgers where he obtained a degree in accounting. He put these skills to good use when he partnered with his father, Clarence, and brother, Bob, to run Gahrs Inc. for decades. He also worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years.
He was married to his high school sweetheart, Carol Thompson and they were blessed with 3 children: Gregory, Jodee (Dr. Scott) Wagner, Aimee (Steve) Magsam. Survivors also include brother, Robert (Joanna), sister, Olivia (Stan) Quinn, mother in law, Edna Thompson. He was a hands on Pop-Pop to Erik and Luke Wagner, Kyle and Kevin Magsam. He is also survived by a nice, Cheryl Pine and nephew, Ryan Quinn. He is predeceased by his parents, Clarence Ferdinand and Dorothy Mai.

TUSTIN – Edward G. Tustin, Jr. (YoEd) age 78 of Logan Township passed away April 17 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Folcroft, PA, Ed has lived in Logan Township for the past 22 years. After graduating from John Bartram High school (Class of January 1952) in Southwest Philadelphia, he joined the US Navy where he served as a Submariner during the Korean War on the USS Grenadier. After his discharge he worked with his father and uncles who had served during WWII, at the Gulf Oil Refinery in Philadelphia. He retired from the finance Department at Temple University and prior to that he worked as Business Manager for the Nursing Administration Dept. of Temple University Hospital. He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Swedesboro.
Ed met his devoted wife of 58 years, Kathleen (Dieter) at a St. Richard’s Dance in S. Philadelphia and they spent most of their married life raising their 6 children in Folcroft PA. It was here they had some of the best years of their life. During this time Ed coached the newly formed Folcroft Falcons 75 lb. football team. A team that went on to make the Boro proud, winning 3 championships in a row.
Ed is also survived by his children, Stephen and his wife Andrea, William and his wife, Nancy, Kathleen and husband William Rose, Colleen, Maureen and husband William Plemenos, Sherrie and husband William Kane. 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His brother, Bruce and sister Mary Mongelluzzo.

HUMPHREY – Fred L. Humphrey, 89, of Bridgeport passed away on April 17 Born in Lower Penns Neck (Pennsville Township), Fred as the son of Raymond and Justina McGill Humphrey. Fred did not know what it was like not to work. In fact, soon after retiring from Chemical Lehman as a truck driver he began working for Lacy’s. Putting in an honest day’s work and spending time with the family was what he valued the most in life.
He is survived by his wife Peggy (Pruitt), four children, 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephew and many friends. In addition to his parents, a son, four brothers and one sister predeceased him.

GREEN – Richard Green, Jr., age 68 of Williamstown, formerly of Mullica Hill and Sewell, passed away on April 19. Born in Camden, he worked for Mars Graphics in Westville and was also a master carpenter. Rich saved 4 lives performing CPR, 2 people that were chocking and 2 that were drowning. One of those people he saved was his wife of 40 years. An avid Phillies fan, Rich enjoyed bowling and golfing, highlighted with a hole in one at Pitman Golf Course. In his younger years Rich was an excellent dancer. He loved dogs and feeding the birds. Rich was a generous, sentimentally hearted man, who loved life, and adored his family.
Husband of Darlene D. (nee Myers), he is survived by his children, Steven Richard Green and his wife Becky of El Paso, TX, Nicole M. Taylor and her husband Jeff of West Deptford, and Ricah M. Ewan and her husband Brett of Mantua, grandchildren, Thomas, Janise, Danny, Yazman, Keki, Julie, Evan and Colin, great grandson, Marcus, his brother Carlton Green and his wife Lisa of Glassboro, his sister, Linda Sue Coulter and her husband John of Sicklerville, and his friend Harriet Criss of Sewell.
