Jeffrey P. Catalano of South Harrison Township was admitted to the New York State Bar on Thursday, Feb. 21 in Albany, New York. Kevin P. McCann, President of the New Jersey State Bar Association, also swore him into the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court of New Jersey in December 2012 during a private ceremony. Jeffrey is a 2012 graduate of Cornell Law School, a 2009 graduate of The School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University, and a 2005 graduate of Kingsway Regional High School. He is currently working for the National Football League Management Council in New York City. Proud parents, John and Terri Catalano, siblings, Chris, Jenny and Dominic, and Bridgeton-residing grandparents, Everett and Nancy Marino and Donald and Kathleen Strang, congratulate Jeff for all his achievements.
Michael Mattioni, President of Mattioni Ltd., on behalf of the Board of Directors, is pleased to announce that Christian T. Johnson, Esquire has joined the firm as an associate in firm’s Admiralty and Maritime practice area. Johnson is a graduate of Tulane Law School where he both his J.D. and LLM in Admiralty Law. He was first in his class in the LL.M. program graduating with a 4.0 GPA. While in law school, he interned for 3 judges both at the district and appellate court levels. Stephen J. Galati, Esquire of Mattioni, LTD. was a recent speaker and panel moderator at the Pollution Prevention Workshop held at the Corinthian Yacht Club, Essington, PA. The Workshop was sponsored by Sea Grant Pennsylvania, an organization that conducts and supports research and education that addresses environmental issues relevant to Pennsylvania’s coastal resources. Galati’s presentation discussed legal aspects and environmental regulations concerning pollution and spills. Galati is a shareholder practicing Maritime and Admiralty Law, which has been a core practice area since its inception and practices in both the firm’s Philadelphia and Swedesboro offices.
