EAST GREENWICH — On Friday Oct. 17, The Witches of East Greenwich Inc., a non – profit corporation, will hold its 2nd Annual Witches Golf Tournament at the Pitman Golf Course at 1:30 p.m.
The Witches of East Greenwich are a group of 200 local women, mostly from East Greenwich Township, who compete in the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival held in October. In addition to making a statement at the festival with nine boats competing, the group also hopes to make a statement by making contributions in our community. This year their charities are Angels of God Clothing Closet and the Larc School. They also present a scholarship at Kingsway Regional High School.
Witches is currently looking for golfers and sponsors. Golfer registration fee is $110 and includes golf, lunch, sumptuous buffet dinner and many prizes. The cost to attend the banquet only is $50. Shirt, towel and hat sponsorships are available (call for pricing), corporate sponsorships($1,000) and hole sponsorships ($150).
Paid sponsors will be afforded the opportunity to send promotional materials for your company to be displayed at the banquet. Golfers and paid dinner guests will get the opportunity to network their businesses.
The group supports each other in the community, and this is a great opportunity to support each other in business as well. By attending or donating, not only will you be helping to raise money for these great charities, but you will be gaining valuable exposure at our event. Witches would greatly appreciate your help with their mission to give back to our great community.
