logan police5Jan. 14: Officers arrested a 32 year old Logan woman who was wanted out of the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office for a probation violation. She was processed and released on bail.

Jan. 16: Police investigated a trespassing complaint on Center Square Road. The accused, a Woodstown man, was later identified and advised that complaints will be signed for future transgressions.

Jan. 17: Officers investigated a report of a fight at the Village Pub prior to closing. The accused, two unidentified females, allegedly created a disturbance both inside and outside the establishment when they were asked to leave. Attempts at locating them were unsuccessful.

Jan. 19: Police charged a 54 year old Gibbstown woman with DWI following an erratic driving complaint on Rt. 322. The accused was processed and released pending court.

Jan. 20: Officers arrested a 27 year old Woodbury Heights man on outstanding warrants in excess of $1,000. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default.

Jan. 20: Police investigated a criminal mischief complaint at the DREAM Park in which someone damaged the driver’s side door of an employee’s car following a dispute. The person responsible has been identified and complaints may be pending.

Jan. 21: A Logan woman reported that someone removed various construction materials from her property sometime after Jan. 1. The stolen items include doors, windows and siding valued at $2,865.

Jan. 23: Police charged a 17 year old juvenile with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an investigation on the 400 block of Heron Drive. The juvenile was processed and released pending juvenile adjudication.

Jan. 23: A Rose Valley, PA woman reported that her bay quarter horse was stolen after it was loaned to an acquaintance in 2011 and never returned. Officers are attempting to locate the accused in an effort to return the horse to its owner.

Jan. 23: Police charged a 44 year old Woolwich man with DWI following a vehicle stop on Rt. 322. The accused was processed and released pending court.

Jan. 25: Police investigated an automobile theft that occurred sometime overnight on Nortonvillle Road. The victim reported that his 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck, valued at $5,000, was stolen from in front of his residence between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. The vehicle was recovered two days later in Camden City.

Jan. 26: A Woolwich woman reported that her purse was stolen when she left in unattended while shopping in the ACME. The bag contained $500 in cash, various credit cards and personal identifiers, checks, prescription medication and her cell phone.

Jan. 27: Police investigated a disorderly conduct complaint at a business on Beckett Road. The accused, a 57 year old Penns Grove man, allegedly became irate during a debate on services rendered. In lieu of complaints, he was advised that he is no longer welcome on the premises.

Jan. 27: Officers investigated a criminal mischief complaint at the Holiday Inn in which a room suffered damages estimated at $1,000. The damages occurred during a “party” held there which was hosted by the renter, a Penns Grove man. Complaints are pending.

Jan. 28: Police charged a 14 year old juvenile with burglary, criminal mischief, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and aggravated assault on a police officer following a disturbance investigation in the Greenfields development. The juvenile was processed and lodged in the Camden County Youth Detention Facility.

Jan. 29: A Pennsville man reported that his wallet was stolen when he left it unattended at a business on Beckett Road. The wallet was later recovered; however $150 in cash was missing.

Jan. 29: Police charged a 44 year old West Deptford man with theft following an investigation in which a Lenovo ThinkPad valued at $1,500 was stolen from a business on the 500 block of Heron Drive. He was processed and released pending court.

Feb. 2: Officers investigated a burglary and theft in which various pieces of jewelry were stolen from a residence sometime last year. The total value stolen was estimated at $10,000.

Feb. 4: Police charged a 21 year old Swedesboro man with possession of marijuana following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. He was processed and released pending court.

Feb. 6: Several vehicles were burglarized overnight in the Bridgeport section of the township. Residents are reminded to secure their vehicles and to remove or conceal high value items.

Feb. 6: A Logan man reported that someone entered his residence and removed a Sony Play Station 4 and a game, Grand Theft Auto 5, sometime over the past week. The items were valued at $525.

Feb. 7: Police charged a 41 year old Logan man with simple assault, criminal mischief following a disturbance in the High Hill Farms development. He was processed and released pending court.

Feb. 8: Police charged a 32 year old Logan man with criminal mischief following an early morning disturbance on Barker Avenue. He was processed and released pending court.

Feb. 8: Officers, investigating a disturbance at the Village Pub, charged a 38 year old Carneys Point woman with disorderly conduct based on her actions outside the establishment. She was issued a special complaint summons and the matter is pending court.

Feb. 8: Police charged a 28 year old Sicklerville man with trespassing while investigating an alarm activation at a business on High Hill Road. He was issued a special complaint and released.

Feb. 8: A Merle Lane resident reported that someone entered his home and stole two electric guitars and a debit card which was later utilized at a nearby convenience store. Police have identified suspects and complaints are pending.

Feb. 9: Police arrested a 38 year old Swedesboro woman on multiple warrants in excess of $2,500 bail. She was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default.

Feb. 9: Police investigated several vehicle burglaries in the Bridgeport section of the township. In every case, the perpetrators entered vehicles that were left unsecured.

Feb. 10: Officers investigated the theft of the front and rear license plates from a 2007 Nissan which had been parked on Beckett Road. The plates were entered NCIC in an effort to facilitate their recovery.

Feb. 10: Police charged a 46 year old Cedarville, NJ man with possession of drug paraphernalia following a High Hill Road vehicle stop. The man was also charged with being a fugitive after officers learned that he was wanted out of Fayette County, PA for assault. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail to await extradition.

Feb. 11: Police charged two men with simple assault, a 28 year old resident of Boomer, NC and a 54 year old resident of Fayetteville, NC, following a disturbance on Center Square Road. They were processed and released pending court.

Feb. 11: Officers assisted Pennsville Police with the execution of arrest and search warrants at a residence on Hancock St. The accused, a 34 year old Logan man, was arrested without incident.

Feb. 12: A Bridgeport man reported that someone tried to force entry into a detached garage by forcing open the overhead door. The door was damaged, however nothing was reported stolen.

Feb. 14: A Woolwich man reported that someone entered his vehicle while it was parked in the Village Pub lot. Once inside, the person responsible stole his wallet which contained cash, credit cards and personal identifiers.

Feb. 14: A 33 year old Pine Hill woman was arrested on multiple warrants in excess of $1,500 bail. She was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail.
