Kings Things recognized by State Columbiettes

SWEDESBORO — Kings Things received the Community Services Award at the New Jersey State Convention of Columbiettes in June. Gerald Siglow, Chairman, of Kings Things accepted the award.

Each year, The New Jersey Columbiettes choose one of its Auxiliaries to host its favorite charity for the Community Services Award in recognition of its good deeds in their community. This past June, the St. Francis Columbiette Auxiliary of Swedesboro, under the leadership of Mary Ann Zagorski, President, was honored to choose Kings Things as the 2013 recipient of this award.

Over the past eight years, the St. Francis Columbiettes and Kings Things have worked closely together to assist Swedesboro families in need, whether it be help for fire victims, funds for home heating bills, assisting with overdue utility bills or just supplying food and gifts to families at Thanksgiving and Christmas, both organizations have combined their assets and resources to meet these needs.

With grateful acknowledgement to the NJ State Columbiettes, both St. Francis Columbiettes and Kings Things look forward to continuing this community relationship.
