logan policeApril 17: A Harvest Road resident reported that someone entered his backyard and stole miscellaneous scrap items that were being stored there. The value of the stolen items was estimated at $400.

April 17: Scrap metal valued at $800 was reported stolen from a construction site on the 600 block of Heron Drive.

April 18: A Heidi Lane resident reported that someone entered her 2010 Honda sometime overnight and rifled through its contents. The vehicle had been left unsecured at the time and nothing was reported stolen.

April 20: Police charged a 21 year old Carneys Point man with hindering apprehension following a Center Square Road vehicle stop in which he provided a false name due to an active warrant. He was processed, charged and released on his own recognizance.

April 21: Officers, responding to a reported suspicious vehicle, located a 2014 Ford Econoline van at a business on High Hill Road that had been stolen out of New Castle, DE. The vehicle was impounded and Delaware State Police were notified of the recovery.

April 21: A High Hill Road resident reported that someone entered his pole barn and removed several items for their scrap value. The person/s responsible entered the property by breaking out ground level window.

April 22: Police charged a 46 year old Wilmington, DE man with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. He was processed and released pending court.

April 22: A resident in the High Hill Farms development reported the theft of jewelry sometime over the past several weeks. The victim reports that several gold chains and charms valued at an estimated $7,000 were taken from the master bedroom. Several persons of interest have been developed and complaints are pending.

April 23: Officers charged a 25 year old Logan man, David Shakespeare, and his 24 year old wife, Cierra, with theft, theft by deception, conspiracy and unlawful impersonation after they listed a rental property on Craigslist and received a security deposit of $250 for property they do not own. Bail was set at $2,500 and service is pending.

April 24: Police charged a 56 year old Logan man with simple assault and criminal mischief following a disturbance on Hancock Street. The man was processed and released pending court.

April 26: Officers investigated a theft of copper and other metals from a cell tower on Heron Drive. Representatives from AT&T reported that an estimated $1000 worth of copper and ground connections were stolen sometime over the past few days.

April 29: Representatives of the DREAM Park reported that someone tampered with several water valves and directed the water flow into the main arena in an obvious attempt to disrupt an event. The attempt was thwarted when discovered by park staff and no damage was reported.

April 30: Officers charged a 33 year old Pedricktown woman with hindering apprehension after she provided false information during a vehicle stop on Commerce Blvd. During the stop, the accused provided a fake last name and date of birth to conceal active warrants and a license suspension. Additional summons were issued and an arrest is pending.

April 30: Police charged a 22 year old Pennsauken man with disorderly conduct and false public alarm following an incident on Commerce Blvd. The man, Malik Dawkins, called 911 multiple times requesting police assistance due to the fact that he had locked his keys in his trunk. To expedite the response, Dawkins informed dispatch that a child was present inside the vehicle. When officers arrived, they discovered that there was no child present in the vehicle, and they were ultimately unable to assist. The accused then became verbally abusive and began shouting obscenities at the officers. He was taken into custody, processed and released pending court.

May 4: Police charged a 26 year old Logan man with multiple motor vehicle violations including DWI and refusal to submit following a Rt. 130 vehicle stop. He was processed and released as per John’s Law.

May 5: Officers charged a 56 year old Logan man with simple assault following a disturbance in the Quail Ridge development. He was processed and released pending court.

May 5: Police investigated an illegal dumping complaint in which someone dumped various household effects on property off of High Hill Road. The incident occurred over the course of the past several weeks.

May 5: Officers discovered two men filling a landscaping water tank from a fire hydrant on Repaupo Station Road. Complaints are pending.

May 5: A Camden woman reported that someone slashed all four tires to her 2001 Hyundai while it was parked at UPS on Birch Creek Rd. The cost to replace the tires was estimated at $500.

May 5: Officers charged two Vineland women with shoplifting $535 worth of baby formula from the ACME on Center Square Road. The women fled the scene and, due to an accurate suspect vehicle description, were subsequently located by Woolwich Police on Rt. 322. They were processed and released pending court.

May 7: Officers investigated a simple assault that occurred at a construction site on Repaupo Station Road. The victim, a 34 year old Camden man reported that he was punched by a 43 year old Runnemede man while they were both working at the site for separate contractors. Both parties were advised of the citizen complaint procedure.

May 8: Police charged a 33 year old Carneys Point man with theft of services, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct following a dispute over services rendered at Firestone on Village Center Drive. The accused became irate while disputing a bill and attempted to engage representatives in a fight. He was processed and released pending court.

May 8: Police arrested a 28 year old Pedricktown woman on multiple warrants following a vehicle stop on Heron Drive. She was processed and turned over to Carneys Point Police.

May 9: Officers charged a 22 year old Pedricktown man with hindering apprehension by providing a fictitious name during a Center Square Road vehicle stop. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default of an outstanding warrant out of Pennsville.

May 10: Two men were discovered trespassing on private property off Floodgate Rd. The men were escorted off the property and advised to not return.

May 11: A 24 year old Logan woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant for theft. She was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default of $2,500 full cash bail.

May 13: Police charged a 35 year old Pitman woman with simple assault following a disturbance on Barker Avenue. She was processed and released pending court.

May 14: Representatives of Champion Container on Commodore Drive reported that someone attempted to steal a copper sprinkler valve sometime over the past few weeks. The attempt was unsuccessful but the system was damaged as a result.

May 14: Officers charged a 43 year old Woolwich woman with multiple motor vehicle violations, including DWI and open container violations, following a stop on Center Square Road. She was processed and released pending court.
