Antique Appraisal & Program – Wednesday, Aug. 12 – 6 p.m. Appraisals are done by Victorian Vanities, Inc. Learn about your antiques and have one of your items appraised for free. Cupcake Decorating – Wednesday, Aug. 26 – 6:30 p.m. Learn to decorate cupcakes with flowers. Space is limited. Must be registered. Call 856-467-0111 or go to www.gcls.org.
Tween/Teens:
Service Opportunity and craft – Tuesday, Aug. 11 – 6:30 p.m. Learn how to make a fleece blanket and show kindness to someone else. The blanket will be given to a child at the Children’s Hospital (CHOP). Limited to eight teens.
Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, Aug. 13 – 6:30 p.m. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time.
Anime Club – Monday, Aug. 31 – 4 p.m. Enjoy like-minded lovers of Anime and Manga. View an Anime movie, play Yugioh and Pokémon, trade cards, and/or draw Manga characters. Feel free to dress in character. Call 856-467-0111 for more information.
Teen Advisory Board – We welcome teens to join our Teen Advisory Board. Be a Literacy Buddy and work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Coding – Learn beginning Computer Coding Skills with Scratch – Mondays, Aug. 10 & 24 – 4 p.m.
Family Bingo – Monday, Aug. 10 – 6:30 p.m. – Have fun playing variations of bingo – T bingo, 4 squares, whole board, and more! Win prizes and enjoy a relaxing, fun evening with family and friends.
Maker Space days – Thursday, Aug. 13 – 11 to 12 p.m. & Monday, Aug. 24 – 2 p.m. Staff will surprise children with a project from our Maker Space cart! Best suited for 1st through 6th grade.

Toddlers & Babies:
Tuesday Story Time – Story Time is a fun time! We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, Aug. 11 & 25). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.
Wednesday Story Time – Wednesday morning story time meets at 10:30 a.m. August’s dates are Aug. 12, 19, & 26 – Library meeting room. Registration required.
Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time will be held on Thursday, Aug. 6 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.
Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s date is Thursdays, Aug. 27 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.
Literacy Buddies – The Literacy Program provides one-on-one assistance to children learning English, phonics and reading skills, and math and Language Arts. Children interested in having a literacy buddy during the 2013-2014 school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens interested in being a literacy buddy, please contact the library.
