SWEDESBORO — Dig into all the excitement and fun of Swedesboro Woolwich Day on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Follow the Dinosaur Discovery Trail along Kings Highway in downtown Swedesboro to experience all this family-friendly event has to offer. Armature paleontologists of all ages will have fun with our dino-mite activities.
Investigate the tracks of the past along the Dinosaur Discovery Trail. Dig for dinos in our giant sand pit, climb Archaeologist Adventure rock wall, and ride a rowdy mechanical dino. Don’t be surprised if you see a friendly T-Rex stomping around. He’s just looking for his friends.
The positive energy from the Dragon Run 5K (www. naterocksheaven.org/DragonRun) continues throughout the day. All the magic created by the runners and walkers helps to power the new Wizards Walk. You will be able to stroll through this new feature for some great photo ops and to complete a magical craft.
Bring your appetite to the variety of food vendors; there’s something to satisfy everyone. Local businesses and crafters will line Kings Highway and the entertainment stage will keep your toes tapping and fingers snapping to the beat.
Other activities include an antique car show and a tricycle race. Teams of five racers will compete against each other in an adults only tricycle race. You won’t know what got you out of breath, the laughing or the exercise.
