Aug. 2: Officers were dispatched to UPS on Birch Creek Rd. for a Theft report. Upon arrival, officers interviewed the suspect, who admitted to opening packages and removing cell phones from them, and in turn, selling them back to other employees. The 23-year-old Camden man was arrested and charged with Theft and released on a summons.

Aug. 5: Officers responded to Greenyard on Pedricktown Rd. for a Theft report. Officers spoke with the victim who advised that she left her iPhone 8 in the bathroom, and someone stole it. The phone was valued at approx. $1,000.

Aug. 7: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Repaupo Station Road. During the stop, officers learned the driver had multiple warrants, as well as being an NCIC hit from Delaware County, PA. The 26 male from Marcus Hook, PA was charged as being a Fugitive from Justice and was lodged in the Salem County Jail to await extradition.

Aug. 10: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt 130. While conducting the stop, officers observed a glass pipe used for smoking marijuana on the console, as well as open alcoholic beverages on the passenger floor. As the driver stepped out of the vehicle, officers observed him discard several unknown pills between the seats. As a result of this stop, the 29-year-old male from Sicklerville was charged with Unlawful Possession of Prescription Medicine (Percocet), Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and several motor vehicle summonses. He was released on a summons with a pending court date.

Aug. 10: Officers responded to the Township Line Park for a theft report. Officers were advised that the caller placed their iPhone X down while at the park, and upon returning to get it, noticed it was missing. A check of the area was negative for the phone. The phone is valued at approx. $650.

Aug. 11: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on a speeding vehicle on Rt 130. While conducting the stop, Officers completed field sobriety tests and determined that the 30-year-old male from Swarthmore, PA was intoxicated. He was arrested, and after processing, was turned over to a friend.

Aug. 13: Officers were dispatched to Green Chef on Commerce Blvd. for a Theft report. The victim advised that on Aug. 11, someone entered her bag that was in the lunchroom, and stole $147 cash from the bag.

Aug. 14: Officers were dispatched to Rt. 130 South for a report of an Assault on the side of the road. As officers arrived, they observed a male leaning into the driver side of a vehicle. As officers approached, the male started walking away, throwing a cell phone to the ground. Through the investigation, it was learned that the driver of the vehicle stopped to help the male that appeared disoriented because he was being drug by another vehicle that was traveling South on Rt. 130. It was also learned that the male broke the driver’s window and assaulted the male when grabbing the phone. The suspect, a 39-year-old male from Pleasantville, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Theft and Criminal Mischief. After being treated at the hospital for injuries, he was transported and lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Aug. 15: Officers were dispatched to UPS on Birch Creek for a Theft report. The suspect, a 35-year-old male from Wilmington, DE, was accused of opening package a that contained a silver tennis bracelet valued at $250. The suspect was arrested and charged with Theft. He was released on a summons.

Aug. 17: Officers responded to Amazon on Oldmans Creek Rd. for a report of an Assault. Patrols learned that the incident started as a motor vehicle complaint. The drivers began to argue, and one driver allegedly punched the other. No complaints were signed in this matter.

Aug. 19: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on High Hill Road. During the stop, officers detected an odor of alcohol and conducted field sobriety tests. After the tests were complete, officers arrested the 47-year-old Logan Twp. male for Driving Under the Influence. After processing, the male was released to a friend, pending a court date.

Aug. 19: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Road. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers detected an odor of Marijuana. Further investigation discovered a jar containing Marijuana. This led to the arrest of a 25-year-old Paulsboro woman who was processed and released on a Possession of Marijuana summons.

Aug. 19: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on I-295. During the stop, officers learned that the driver, a 33-year-old Penns Grove man, had an NCIC warrant from West Chester, PA. The driver was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice and was lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Aug. 19: Officers took a report from a Quail Ridge resident regarding Fraud. The resident was contacted by someone identifying themselves as an Atlantic City Electric employee and was informed that payments for bills were incomplete. The resident obtained a prepaid card and supplied the alleged employee over $800. After the transaction, the resident realized it was a scam and contacted police.

Aug. 21: Officer responded to Greenyard on Pedricktown Rd. for a stolen cell phone report. The victim advised he placed the phone down in the bathroom and forgot it, however, upon his return, it was missing. The phone is an iPhone valued at approx. $800.

Aug. 21: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on High Hill Road. Due to officers detecting an odor of alcohol, field sobriety tests were given. As a result of these tests, a 43-year-old Pennsauken male was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. He was released to a friend pending court. He also had multiple warrants, which he was released pending court dates.

Aug. 24: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on High Hill Road. After detecting an odor of alcohol, and conducting field sobriety tests, officers arrested the 18-year-old Runnemede male for Driving Under the influence. He was released to a friend pending a court date.

Aug. 27: Officers responded to a report of suspicious persons, possibly entering unlocked vehicles in the Hidden Creek development. While investigating, officers encountered the suspects. Officers apprehended a 17-year-old juvenile male from Woolwich, and immediately recognized the second suspect as Evan Fauntleroy, a 19-year-old Swedesboro male. Fauntleroy was apprehended by Woolwich Police on Aug. 28. The juvenile was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Receiving Stolen Property, and was turned over to family. Fauntleroy was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Attempt and Obstruction of Justice. He was lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Aug. 27: Officers responded to JB Hunt on Berkeley Dr. for a Burglary and Theft report. It was learned that an employee stole several appliances valued over $2,500 from the company and sold them at a scrap yard. Upon his arrest, the 29-year-old male from Runnemede was also in possession of Heroin and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was charged with Theft, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Aug. 27: Officers responded to a High Hill Farms residence for a Theft report. It was reported to officers that sometime overnight, someone removed some of the internal units of the electrical meter. The value of this theft is approx. $200.
