Job Readiness Program:
50 Top Interview Questions & Applications – Wednesday, March 11 – 1:30 to 3 p.m. Meet with an expert and learn the 50 most asked interview questions and receive guidance on the best way to answer. Dress for Success & Interview Etiquette – Wednesday, March 18 – 1:30 to 3 p.m. Learn from an expert what to wear for a job interview. Also receive interview etiquette tips and suggestions. Be sure to check our online calendar for changes.
Interview Practice – Wednesday, March 25 – 1:30 to 3 p.m. Practice interview questions with an expert in the field. A great way to be prepared for your next interview! Be sure to check our online calendar for changes.

Needle Arts: Crochet, Knit or Sew Night! – Tuesdays, March 17 – 7 p.m. Learn how to sew, knit or crochet or get help with your own project. Be sure to register at www.gcls.org.
Yoga for Everyone – Fridays, March 6 & 20 – 10:30 a.m. Learn basic yoga positions, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques. Please bring your own mat or towel and water to drink.Space is limited, be sure to register.
Make a Shamrock Candy Bouquet – Wednesday, March 11 – 6:30 p.m. You’ll enjoy creating your own delicious edible Shamrock Candy Bouquet! Please bring a small plastic or clay flower pot with you. Be sure to register as space is limited.

Make Clothespin Fairies – Wednesday, March 25 – 6:30 p.m. Make a pretty fairy doll out of wooden clothespins and artificial flowers. All Supplies will be provided. Space is limited.
Join our Card-making Club – Last Mondays of each month.March’s date is Monday, March 30 – 7 p.m. Make fancy and unique greeting cards or crafts with Ms. Kelly. Feel free to bring some of your own supplies. Space is limited. Please register at www.gcls.org.
Tween/Teens:
Teen/Tween Book Club – Saturday, March 7 – 12:30 p.m. March’s selection will be The Meaning of Maggie by Megan Jean Sovern. Be sure to register at www.gcls.org.
Teen Writers’ Club – Monday, March 9 – 7 p.m. The Writer’s club will be on the second Monday of each month. The time will be devoted to writing! You can work on your own writing or pull ideas from our binder. Your writings may be published in our Teen Express Literary Magazine.
Make a St. Patrick’s Day Treat – Thursday, March 12 – 7 p.m. & Friday, March 13 – 4 p.m. – Tweens need to come both days. We will make a cake together on the 12th, but you have to come back to eat it on the 13th. Be sure to register as space is limited!!!! Call 856-467-0111 to register so staff will be sure to register you for both events.
Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us on Thursday, March 19 – 6:30 to 8 pm. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time!
Join us for New Jersey Maker’s Day – Saturday, March 21 – 11 a.m., ages 9-16. Pick which program you would like to participate in. Space is limited! Be sure to register. The choices are graphic design or glitter slime. You can also choose to participate in the Engineering for Girls (though boys can attend) – These programs will include paper airplanes, tower challenge, or making a boat challenge. You can only register for one program. Register by calling 856-467-0111 so a staff person can register you.
Anime Club – Monday, March 23 – 5 p.m. Anime meets on the fourth Monday at 5:00 pm. Feel free to come dressed in costume. You can also bring Pokemon cards or Yu Gi Oh cards to play, watch an Anime movie/show and/or draw Manga characters. Register at www.gcls.org.
Literacy Buddies – We are looking for teens interested in becoming a Literacy Buddy. Teens can work one-on-one with a child who needs help with reading, math, homework, or learning English. Commitment is one hour a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. Call 856-467-0111 for more information or stop in and fill out a volunteer form.
Teen Advisory Board – We welcome teens to join our Teen Advisory Board. Teen Board members will learn library skills, help plan teen activities, and/or work with children by becoming a Literacy Buddy. Call 856-467-0111 for more information.
Children:
FURever as Friends – Monday, March 16 – 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visit with our therapy animals, read to them, share a picture book, brush their coat, and/or give them a treat. Some of our animals even do tricks. Registration is not required. Permission slips to visit our animals are available at the front desk.
New Jersey Maker’s Day: Saturday, March 21 – 11 a.m., ages 9-16. Several events will take place this day so choose one event to participate in: Engineering for Girls (although boys can attend). There will be paper airplanes, a tower challenge, and making a boat challenge. Choose one. Or, you may choose to make glitter slime or enjoy creating with a computer using a graphic design program. Literacy Buddies – Does your child need help with homework, reading or learning English – call us at 856-467-0111 and we will try to match your child with a Teen Volunteer. Literacy buddies traditionally takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, from 4 – 5 p.m. Let us know which day is best for you.
Toddlers & Babies:
Teddy Bear Clinic – Friday, March 13 – 10:30 a.m. Best suited for ages 2-½ to 6. Have your child bring his or her favorite stuffed teddy bear or animal and learn all about what happens at the doctor’s office or emergency room. Children will play doctor to their own little friend. Your little one will enjoy bringing his or her stuffed animal friend to the clinic. They can listen to their heart, take their temperature, and bandage their wounds. This program is sponsored by Inspira. Space is limited. Be sure to register at www.gcls.org.
Tuesday Storytime (Laugh n’ Learn) – Storytime is a fun time! Listen to stories, sing songs, and make a craft. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. March’s storytime dates are March 10, 17, 24, & 31. Storytime is best suited for ages 2-½ to 5. Registration is required.
Wednesday Storytime (Toddler Tales) – Join in the fun Wednesday morning for stories, dancing and crafts. Wednesday storytime is at 10:30 a.m. Dates for March are March 11, 18, & 25 – Library meeting room. Storytime is best suited for ages 2-½ to 5. Registration required.
Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time is held on Thursdays, March 19 – 10:30 a.m. Space is limited, registration is required.
Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s dates are Thursdays, March 12 & 26 – 10:30 a.m. Registration is required as space is limited.
