Oct. 1: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Abbey Lane. While conducting the stop, Officers noticed an odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A subsequent search led to the arrest and charges of a 22-year-old Mickleton man for Possession of Marijuana. He was processed and released on a summons with a pending court date.

Oct. 2: Officers checked on a suspicious motor vehicle in the parking lot at the Peachwood Swim Club. Upon speaking with the occupants, an odor of Marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Upon searching, Officers located Marijuana and paraphernalia. Officers arrested the driver, an 18-year-old female from Swedesboro, for the Possession of Marijuana, and she was released with a future court date.

Oct. 3: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 44. While conducting the stop, Officers observed open containers of alcohol in the vehicle, as well as the odor of alcohol coming from the driver. After performing Field Sobriety Tests, Officers arrested and charged the 31-year-old Paulsboro man for Driving Under the Influence. He was released to a third party with a pending court date.

Oct. 5: Officers responded to Taylor Farms on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that employees observed two individuals loading scrap metal into their vehicle but fled when they saw employees. The value of the scrap metal is approx. $150.

Oct. 7: Officers responded to Pierson’s on Rt. 322 for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported that sometime overnight, unknown individuals threw rocks and broke the windshield of construction equipment. Value of the damage is approx. $600.

Oct. 10: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 130. While conducting the stop, Officers observed the odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed Marijuana over 50 grams. The 18-year-old male from Glendora was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana over 50 grams. He was released with a pending court date.

Oct. 13: Officers were dispatched to Amazon on Oldman’s Creek Road for an employee causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and observed the suspect yelling profanities and attempting to fight employees. The 38-year-old male from Pennsville was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct. The suspect was then turned over to EMS for a medical evaluation at Inspira Hospital.

Oct. 14: Officers responded to Amazon on Oldman’s Creek Road for a Theft report. It was reported that an employee stole at least 14 iPads from the facility, valued over $6,000. The suspect, a 54-year-old Camden man, was arrested and charged with Theft. He was released pending a future

court date.

Oct. 14: Officers were dispatched to Amazon on Oldman’s Creek Road for an employee that made threats, indicating he had a weapon. Officers located the suspect in his vehicle and took him into custody. After detecting the odor of Marijuana, Officers searched the vehicle and located Marijuana inside. The 38-year-old male from Pennsville was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Trespassing and Creating a False Public Alarm. He was released pending a future court date.

Oct. 16: Officers were dispatched to the Rite Aid on Village Center Drive for a report of an Armed Robbery. It was reported that three males jumped the front counter and pharmacy counter, brandished a handgun, and stole an unknown amount of pharmaceutical narcotics. The suspects then fled the scene. This incident was turned over to the Detective Unit.

Oct. 20: Officers responded to Amazon on Oldman’s Creek Road for a Theft report. It was reported that an employee stole at least 35 iPads, valued over $15,000. The 38-year-old male from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with Theft. He was released with a future court date.

Oct. 21: Officers were dispatched to CTDI on Oldman’s Creek Road for an Assault report. It was reported that two employees confronted a third employee after a dispute. The two employees then began to assault the third, causing injury. Charges are still pending in this incident.

Oct. 30: Officers were dispatched to the Wawa on Center Square Road for a Motor Vehicle Theft. It was reported to Officers that the driver entered Wawa while leaving his vehicle unlocked, running and unattended. The suspect then entered the vehicle and drove away from the Wawa. The red 2004 Dodge Dakota Pickup truck was entered NCIC and is valued at $8000.

Oct. 31: Officers were made aware of an Assault that occurred at Best Buy at 2100 Center Square Road between employees. The victim of the Assault alleges that the suspect, a 43-year-old male from Egg Harbor City, approached him and started a physical altercation. During the course of the altercation, the suspect used a box cutter and cut the victim on his head. As a result of the investigation, the suspect is charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes. Service of the charges is still pending.
