Nov. 2: Officers observed an Amazon truck pulled over on the shoulder on Rt 130. Officers observed the driver, a 23-year-old male from New Castle, DE throwing Amazon boxes into the woods. Upon investigating, the driver had no intentions of making the deliveries. He was then charged with Theft and illegal dumping of the items, which totaled almost $300.

Nov. 6: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 130 While investigating the stop, Officers conducted Field Sobriety Tests on the 42-year-old Wilmington, DE man, and afterwards, placed him under arrest for Driving Under the Influence. During a search of the vehicle, Officers located Marijuana, Crack Cocaine, and prescription pills. The driver was charged with the above offenses and transported to the Salem County Jail.

Nov. 11: Officers responded to Mitsubishi Fuso on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime overnight, someone removed the catalytic converter (valued at $1,200) from one of the trucks.

Nov. 11: Officers responded to Camping World on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime overnight, someone stole a catalytic converter off one of the RV units. The converter is valued at approximately $400.

Nov. 12: Officers responded to Hunter Trucks/International Parts for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime overnight, unknown individual(s) entered the premises and stole a pallet of batteries valued at over $2,400.

Nov. 13: Officers responded to Ryder Logistics on Pedricktown Road for a Theft report. It was reported that someone had stolen a pair of boots from the facility and walked away. While questioning a suspect, it was determined that the suspect had several warrants for his arrest. Officers arrested the 26-year-old Philadelphia man for the warrants. Upon a further search of the suspect and area, Officers located the boots along with prescription pills. The suspect was subsequently charged with Theft and Possession of Prescription Pills. He was processed and released on a summons.

Nov. 13: Officers were dispatched to the Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report, with employees providing a description of the suspect who had left the business, as well as describing the stolen items (cough medicine valued at $15). Upon searching the area, Officers located the suspect, a 36-year-old Woolwich man, a couple blocks away and attempted to continue the investigation. The suspect then began to hinder the investigation, resulting in the suspect being placed under arrest. Upon searching, Officers located the reported stolen items on the suspect. He was charged with Shoplifting and Resisting Arrest and released on a summons with a pending court date.

Nov. 13: Officers responded to Concrete Polishing on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that overnight, someone removed the catalytic converter from one of the trucks. The value of the converter is approx. $1,000.

Nov. 17: Officers responded to a Nortonville residence for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime overnight, someone broke into the shed and stole a generator valued at $2,500.

Nov. 18: Officers responded to the Pretzel Factory on Beckett Road for an individual trying to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. It was reported that that suspect argued over prices, then tried to pay with the $100 bill, but the employee would not take it. After further arguing, the male left the store. A check of the area was negative for the suspect.

Nov. 20: Officers responded to a suspicious person on the side of Tractor Supply on Center Square Road. While investigating, Officers observed a hypodermic needle beside the person, as well as suspicious bulges on him. Further investigation revealed shoplifted items from Tractor Supply, specifically drill bits, saw blades and work gloves, valued over $200. The 27-year-old Penns Grove man was charged with Shoplifting and released with a pending court date.

Nov. 24: Officers were dispatched to VWR Scientific on Center Square Road for a fight. As Officers arrived, they spoke with the parties involved. After investigating, they arrested a 27-year-old Penns Grove man for Disorderly Conduct. He was given a summons and released with a future court date.

Nov. 25: Officers were dispatched to the playground in the High Hill Farms development for a Criminal Mischief Report. It was reported that someone had bent the slide, left razor blades in the area and carved graffiti on the bench.

Nov. 25: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Road. Suspected of being Under the Influence, Officers conducted several Field Sobriety Tests. After completing the tests, Officers arrested the 34-year Gibbstown man for Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to a third party with a pending court date
