Seniors of the Month for November & December

SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER

COLE GRISCOM

Cole Griscom, son of Gary Griscom and Rachel Celiberti of Woolwich Township.

School Activities:  Cole has been involved in the following activities during his high school career: Musical (freshman, sophomore, junior), Interact Club (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior), STEM Academy (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior), Model UN Treasurer (sophomore, junior, senior), Student Ambassadors Executive Board member (sophomore, junior, senior), Cross-Country (freshman, sophomore), and Track and Field (sophomore).

Out of School Activities:  Cole has worked at two jobs during his sophomore, junior, and senior years.

Honors/Awards:  Cole is the National Honor Society President, and is a member of the World Language National Honor Society.

Future Plans: After graduation, Cole plans to attend a university and major in Healthcare Policy and Management.

MARGARET NEYER

Margaret Neyer, daughter of Daniel and Mary Neyer of Logan Township.

School Activities:  Each year of high school, Margaret has been a part of the Kingsway Girls’ Volleyball team.  For three years (sophomore-senior) she has been a member of the club Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). This year, Margaret had the honor of being the President of FCA.  She also, for the first three years of high school, has been a part of stage crew for the Musical.  Margaret has been a Student Ambassador for three years and has had the privilege of being on the executive board this year.  In addition, this year she had the pleasure of working as a mentor to help a student adjust to Kingsway. Margaret has been a part of other clubs such as Student Council, World Wildlife Fund, Art Club, Habitat for Humanity, Key Club, and Anti-Bullying Club.

Out of School Activities: Outside of school, Margaret is an active member of her church; she participates in the worship team, traditional choir and the nursery.  She also enjoys playing basketball for an AAU team in the spring.  As well, Margaret plays the piano and took private lessons for about 12 years.

Honors/Awards:  Margaret is a member of the National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, the President of FCA, and is a member of the Executive Board of Student Ambassadors.

Future Plans:  In the future, Margaret plans studying neuroscience at Lebanon Valley College.  She hopes to continue her studies by pursuing a Master’s Degree in neuroscience and psychology.

SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

JOSEPH COLLINS III

Joseph Collins III, son of Joseph Jr. and Bridget Collins, Mickleton.

School Activities:  Joseph has been involved in the following activities during his high school career:  School Play (9-12), Debate Club (10-12), and Winter and Spring Track and Field (9-12).

Out of School Activities:  Joseph is an Altar Server at St. Mary’s Church (9-12), Lifeguard at Gibbstown Swim Club (11-12), and does volunteer work at Angels of God (9-12).

Honors/Awards:  Joseph’s Honors and Awards are:   National Honor Society (11-12), World Language National Honor Society (12), Play Executive Board President (12), Debate Club Vice-President (12), Princeton Model Congress Best Delegate (10 and 12), New Jersey Model Congress Party Whip (10) and Party Leader (11), Spotlight Student (9 and 11), Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (10), Boys State Nominee (11), and Kingsway Renaissance (9-12).

Future Plans: Joseph plans to attend college and earn a degree in Government, Law, or Political Science.  He hopes to one day have a career in politics or law.

ABBY ZUCCATO

Abby Zuccato, daughter of Jennifer Ruzek of Woolwich Township.

School Activities:  Abby’s has been involved in the follow activities during her high school career:  Freshman year:  General member of Student Council (happily she was chosen by the end of the year to be on Executive Board), and Renaissance.

Sophomore year:  Executive Board member of Student Council (grade representative and attended the Leadership Training Conference with three other fantastic leaders in her grade during the summer), Renaissance, Kingsway Live backstage, Business Leadership Academy (D.E.C.A.), and Student Ambassador.

Junior year:  Recording Secretary of Student Council, National Honor Society, Student Ambassador, Business Leadership Academy (D.E.C.A.), and Renaissance.

Senior year: Student Council President, National Honor Society Parliamentarian, Student Ambassador, Business Leadership Academy (D.E.C.A.), Art National Honor Society, and Renaissance.

Freshman year: S.U.R.E. and S.I.A Club.

Sophomore year: S.U.R.E., S.I.A Club, and Foreign Language Club.

Junior year and Senior Year:   S.U.R.E. Club, Foreign Language Club, World Wildlife Club, Anti-Bullying Club, and Unify Club.

Out of School Activities: Last year, Abby participated in the “Night to Shine,” a formal dance for people who have disabilities. This event was organized through the Crossbridge Community Church.  Furthermore, her junior year she volunteered to help the Kingsway Youth Cheerleaders. Abby has been doing cheer competitively for fourteen years.

Honors/Awards:  Abby’s Honors and Awards are:  Freshman-Senior year – Student Council Executive Board.  Junior year – Student Council Recording Secretary.  Senior year – National Honor Society Parliamentarian, Student Council President, Anti-Bullying Club President, and Fall Cheerleading Varsity Captain.

Future Plans:  After high school, Abby plans to attend a four-year university and receive a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.  Later on in life, she hopes to pursue a business career.
