FOOD DRIVE, JUNE 12

CLARKSBORO — On Saturday, June 12 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, St. Peter’s Church at 304 Kings Highway in Clarksboro will be hosting a contactless food drive.

Although the Pandemic may be under control and things are beginning to return to normal, food insecurity continues to be a problem throughout our country and in our very own backyard. This food drive supports the Blessing Store of the Evangelical Methodist Church which provides assistance to any family needing assistance in Gloucester County. The Blessing Store provides meals to an average of 45 families per month from our community.

It is critical that we continue to support the work of the Evangelical Methodist Church in order for them to make an impact in this community. All non-perishable food items are accepted as well as diapers, paper products and cleaning supplies.
