SWEDESBORO — It’s back and better than ever.
Swedesboro Woolwich Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24 in downtown Swedesboro along Kings Highway. This beloved community celebration immediately follows the Dragon Run 5K and continues until 4 p.m.
Kings Highway will transform into a walkable wonderland complete with crafters, artisans, local businesses, and delicious food. Visit the moon bounces and face painting for the kids, a car show and beer garden for the adults, and lots more to see and do for everyone.
Free parking, free shuttle buses, free admission, and free entertainment on two stages. Proudly sponsored by Inspira Health Network, this event highlights the best of the Swedesboro Woolwich area.
On the north end, closer to Church Street, you will be enticed by the food court’s many offerings. Located at Schoener’s Service Station, the North stage, sponsored by Ryan homes, will feature the Swedesboro Performing Arts Academy at 10:30 a.m., Swedesboro Woolwich Little Theater at 11 a.m., PassMORE Dance at 11:30 a.m., Hip Hop Shop conducting a fitness drum workout demo at 12:30 p.m., Swedesboro Music Studio at 1 p.m., Dee Dot Dance Academy at 2:30 p.m., and Dance Artistry Center at 3 p.m.
Vendor booths will line the middle of the street all the way through downtown. There’s even going to be a Gaga pit sponsored by Grace Church and Primitive Axe is bringing their mobile unit for adventurous participants.
The South stage is sponsored by Swedesboro Performing Arts Academy & Proof Productions and will be located across from the Swedesboro Library. It will feature the Dragon Run awards ceremony at 10 a.m., the Kingsway Marching Band at 10:30 a.m. followed by Kelsey Coan at 11 a.m. Back Creek Duo takes the stage from 12 until 2 p.m., Shayds of Grey from 2 to 3:30 p.m., and then the car show awards close out the day.
Take a stroll through the car show which has plenty of room and extends past the intersection with Lake Avenue until East Avenue. The Swedesboro Woolwich Fire Company is adjacent to the car show. Central to the car show and near the South stage, the Swedesboro Brewing Company will set up a beer garden at Pat’s Citgo.
