Trinity Episcopal “Old Swedes” Church was founded by Swedish Lutheran settlers who originally worshiped in a log cabin on the site in 1703.  Records indicate that a cabin on the property was used extensively as a stop on the Underground Railroad. The current church building dates to 1784 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
