LONG — Terence P. Long, 85, of Woolwich Township, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 9, 2024.

Born in New York, he lived in several locations before moving to Woolwich Township 16 years ago. He is a graduate of Fordham University and after a lifetime in sales retired in 2006 from F.O.S. Sales.

Terry was known for his beautiful writings of prose and poetry, belonging to a local writing group for many years. He loved music, reading, travel, family camping, the Eagles and the Phillies. He was an outstanding athlete who played baseball, football, golf and tennis.

Terry had a great sense of humor and would do anything for a laugh. He was known for his silly hats and outfits including an emoji poop hat that he wore, bringing great laughter to everyone he met.

Terry volunteered at Contact, a crisis hotline, for 25 years and Heartland Hospice for seven years and was widely appreciated by these organizations.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family, bringing love and laughter to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Christine (nee Hartmaier), his children, Ginny (Joe) Peters, Terry

(Sherry) Long, Brian (Helen Gan) Long, Robert (Tracey) Long, Stephen (Claudia) Long and Trish (Jeff) Caldwell. His grandchildren, Erica (Jordan) Hafer, Erin (Matt) Pender, Terry and Timmy (Milk) Long, Sean and Danielle Long, Megan (Bobby) Gendron, Ryan McCourt, Michael (Kelly) McCourt, Hope (John) Long, Tara and Grace Long, Ashley and Dylan Long, Shawna and Jonah Mason, Kaelin (Stoane) Stefan, Kiera Caldwell and Brianne Caldwell. His Great-grandchildren, Kayla and Addison Hafer, Zoe McCourt and Riley Powell. He was predeceased by his parents, Terence and Mary Long, also his sisters, Mona Lynch and Maureen O’Dea.

SARACINI — Rosemarie A Saracini, (nee Delvecchio) 80 of Logan Township passed away Jan. 13, 2024 at Samaritan Center at Voorhees, NJ.

Born in Rochester, New York, she resided in Logan Township for the past 10 years. She was a Pharmacy Technician, employed by Magee Rehab Hospital in Philadelphia. Rosemarie is survived by her daughter, Tina (John) Volpe, her grandchildren, Gillian and Sydney and a sister, Susan Branka. At Rosemarie’s request services will be private.

TITUS — Ronald Wilmot “Ron” Titus, age 79, died Jan. 19, 2024, at home in Woolwich Township.

Ron, a lifelong resident of New Jersey, was born April 8, 1944, in Penns Grove to Raymond and Evelyn (née Wilmot) Titus and grew up in Pedricktown. After graduating from Penns Grove High School in 1962, he earned an associate’s degree from Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, Del. (circa 1966) and a bachelor’s degree in 1968 from the University of Baltimore in Maryland.

Ron spent almost his entire professional career working for DuPont in a variety of management positions. He was employed at the Chambers Works facility in Deepwater, N.J., for approximately 30 years, then worked as a contractor at the Belcan and Experimental Station facilities in Wilmington before retiring in 2019.

Ron’s work ethic and dedication to doing any job, and doing it right, were unparalleled; he truly embodied the spirit of Titus 3:1—“Be ready for any honest work.”

But what he loved most was being with family and sharing good times with friends. He spent many a year watching football, baseball and horse racing; enjoying the annual Titus family invasion of Ocean City, N.J.; unwinding at “the Office” in Penns Grove; relishing a great meal; and traveling with his loving wife and companion of 35 years, Linda (née Croce, of Gibbstown). “Frankie,” as she is fondly known, was Ron’s perfect partner in spirit and humor, and they made quite the fun-loving pair.

In addition to Linda, Ron is survived by his children, Greg (wife: Hope) and Christa Titus (both of Thorofare, N.J.), Jennifer Russell (née Pollock; Jason; Wenonah, N.J.) and Jacob Pollock (Bridgeport, N.J.); his grandchildren, Renee Conway (Mark Melson), Aristotle and Lucien Maule, and Aaron Hill; and his great-grandchildren, Lilly and Mark Melson. He is also survived by: sister Gail Niebauer (Pedricktown, N.J.); brother-in-law Joseph Croce (Tracey; Midlothian, Va.); sister-in-law Barbara Titus; nieces Donna Stroka, Colleen Borbone (Joseph; son Ryan), Angela Howeter (Will) and Dineen Titus; nephews Mark (Kathryn), Kevin (Lisa), Matthew and Glenn Titus (Monica), Joe Croce Jr. (Melissa) and Larry and Jason Yocum; great-nieces Jessica Stroka and Gabriella and Adriana Titus; great-nephews Shane (Erica), Michael (Kristen) and Alexander Titus; great-great nieces Katherine, Addison and Ava Titus; great-great nephews Logan and Jaxon Titus; former spouse Elaine Titus (Brian Stockton); former sister-in-law Pamela Yocum (Michael McCool); and many friends.

Ron was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Raymond, Willard and Robert; his brothers-in-law Wayne Niebauer and Larry Yocum; his sisters-in-law Kathryn Lovell and Shirley Titus; his dear friend Randall Pollock; his nephews Michael Titus and John Stroka; his in-laws Aileen Kelling and Leonard and Helen Zaroda, and many other beloved relatives and friends.

DUFFY — Francis L. Duffy Jr., passed away on Jan. 22, 2024. He was 86.

Beloved brother of Gerry Johnson (nee Duffy) and her husband, the late Patrick H. Johnson. Dearly loved uncle of Pete Johnson and his wife, Jennifer and their son, Gavin Johnson. He is also survived by his loving cousins. Frank lived all his life in Mullica Hill at the family home that was built in 1908. He was a graduate of Glassboro High School and Philadelphia College of Art (U of Arts).

He began his working career at John Wanamakers and went on to own and operate his own business, Frank Duffy Interiors. He enjoyed reading, gardening, animals and spending time with his family.

ZEISLOFT — Charles “Big Rig” Zeisloft, a renowned figure in the trucking industry and a beloved community member, passed away peacefully on Jan. 24, 2024. Born on Jan. 18, 1943 in Hazelton, PA, to Elma (nee Kindred) and Clyde Marvin Zeisloft, Charles developed a fascination with trucks and entrepreneurship from an early age. His youthful adventures, including rides on coal trucks and running a paper route, foreshadowed a remarkable life ahead.

A graduate of Hazelton High School in 1960, Charles married Beverly (nee Edwards) the following year. The couple’s journey led them to Thorofare, NJ, where Charles, now affectionately known as “Chuck,” realized his dream by founding Zeisloft Trucking. Operating out of West Deptford, NJ, his business flourished for over 60 years, a testament to his belief in hard work and perseverance.

Chuck’s life was marked by his entrepreneurial spirit and his love for his hometown delicacies, notably Jimmy George’s Hot Dogs. His commitment to his community extended to his generous support of various charities.

Predeceased by his wife, Beverly, in 2022, Charles leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his children, Wendy Harvey of Mantua, NJ, Charles II (Maria) of Woodbury Heights, NJ, and Kirsten Boninfante (Steve) of Cherry Hill, NJ; his devoted Barbara Koury of Woodbury, NJ; his cherished grandchildren, Shawna, Eric, Charles III, Vincent, Chrissy and his adored great-granddaughters, Angel and Peyton.

FORSMAN — John W. Forsman age 85, of Mickleton, formerly of West Deptford, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024 at home.

Born in National Park to the late Charles Forsman and Clara (nee Gemenden), he graduated from Woodbury High School Class of 1956. He served in the US Army in Korea during the Vietnam War.

John worked for Mobil Research and Development for 39 years where he was an Automotive Lab Technician. He was a member of the Road Rods & Mark V’s Auto Clubs, past president of his homeowner’s association, and former treasurer & member of the West Deptford Lions Club.

John enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling and yearly vacations in Myrtle Beach, SC.

He is survived by his wife, Anna (nee Hogan); his sisters-in-law, Lorrie Forsman, Catherine Snyder, Joan Kinney, Mary Bailey, Elizabeth Wilcox; brothers-in-law, Joseph Hogan, and Gerald Hogan. John was predeceased by his son, Craig J. Forsman; his brother, Charles “Chuck” Forsman; brothers-in-law, Daniel Hogan and Robert Hogan; and sister-in-law, Patricia Chellew.

GROGAN — Michael T. Grogan passed away Jan. 26, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. He died in the loving presence of his two daughters at the age of 73.

He was proud to be the third generation of his family to live on Timberlane Road in Clarksboro.

He was a graduate of Kingsway Regional High School and attended Glassboro State College for a period of time. By trade, Michael was a crane operator and general mechanic in the field of pipe fitting and welding.

He loved music and his guitar was his companion since boyhood. He loved camping, canoeing, and spending time in nature. He enjoyed times spent with family and friends.

Michael’s number one joy in life was being Grandpa to Matthew (32) and Grandpoppy to Bryson (7) and Harper (4). He would do anything for his grandchildren. Michael was predeceased by his parents Hugh Grogan and Teresa Grogan (McGeary), his sister Ann Shimp (Grogan) and his brother Hugh Grogan. Michael is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Koehler (Bill) and Amelia Adams (John), brothers Kevin and Frank Grogan (Patty), sister-in-law MaryJane Grogan, wife of deceased Hugh Grogan, and grandchildren Matthew Koehler, Bryson Adams, and Harper Adams. He was loved by cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family, and the mothers of his two daughters.

COIA — Tina Jeanne Sutter Coia, 83, passed away peacefully on Feb. 3, 2024 surrounded by her family. She died as she lived, in a room with her loved ones filled with laughter.

She was born on May 14, 1940 in Rural Valley, PA to the late Joseph and Alyce Sutter. Also predeceasing her were sister Donna Vindick and brother Joseph Lewis Sutter Jr.

Tina is survived by her children: Michele “Mickey” Coia-Veston (the late Victor), Robert L. Coia Jr. (Regina), Christina Seklecki (David), and Dawn Lepore (A.J.); grandchildren Teresa, Tina, the late Antonino, Joey, Ashley, Benjamin, Cassy, the late Alexis, and Alexander; great-grandchildren Gianna, Bryanca, Maurice, Kenneth, Amaya, Carmine, Valentino, Cody, Mason, Jackson, and Peyton; great-great grandchild Seven; many extended relatives, and friends.

Tina was most known for her witty humor: she was sharp and quippy till the very end. Her unconditional devotion to her family was the major driving force in her life; a homemaker for many years.

Tina was an incredibly stoic and strong woman who taught her loved ones by example to be loyal, kind, and fully yourself. She embraced people for who and what they were. Tina often brought the family together through her love of food. Her dishes ranged from Polish, to Italian, to Americana cuisines.

She was a devoted Catholic. After church you would find her sharing lunch with close friends. Loving to dance throughout her life, she won dance contests in her younger years while always supporting her friends and family. Tina spent the later portion of her life living with her children, allowing for her calm demeanor, compassion, and quick humor to be carried forth into the homes of her grandchildren.
