Swedesboro-Woolwich Parks and Recreation is hosting Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event has been developed especially for families with young children.
Rides and activities are geared to children under 12 years old. There will be kiddie rides and bounce houses, games, mini golf, performers, food vendors and non-food vendors.
Ride tickets for the rides will be sold only at the event. No advanced sales or wristbands. Please bring cash or use QR code to purchase online at the event.
The Main Stage at Family Fun Day will feature local performers from Drop the Mic from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Our main attraction again this year will be Grandpop Bubbles from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Grandpop Bubbles will bring his bubble wands, poles, basins, buckets, and 120+ gallons of special bubble juice for as many kids as possible to enjoy bubbling with him.
The best part of this is that children of all ages will share four foot bubble wands, “Superwands”, and his three foot bubble “Tristrings” (two sticks and loop) to make bubbles. He guarantees that you will make the biggest bubbles of your life, whatever your age.

The new Pickleball Courts are almost ready to use. Pickleball Clinics will be offered in June. More information to come on dates and times.
Lastly, Parks and Rec had a very successful Easter Egg Scramble on March 16. Children collected over 6,000 eggs.
