LOGAN TWP. — The Logan Township Home and School League is thrilled to announce that their Spring Fling Celebration & Raffle is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15. The event is being hosted at the Logan Township Elementary back parking lot and field, with rain accommodations in the school, if needed.
“It is almost time for the third annual Spring Fling, and I couldn’t be more excited,” said Kimi Taylor, Home and School League Co-President. “The Home and School League does a lot of great things, but we have so much fun at this event with the entire community as our kids and families enjoy games and crafts and try to win our incredible raffle prizes.”
The event is from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The event will feature local food trucks; Fireman Freddie BBQ, Mullica Taco and Kona Ice. Additionally, a variety of free games, crafts, and activities for kids of all ages will be run throughout the event.
“This event is for everyone,” said Taylor. “Our job is to make Spring Fling an exciting evening for the entire community while raising money for the continuation of the schools’ after-school activities.”
The Logan Township Home and School League runs multiple fundraisers throughout the year, including Spirit Wear sales with Tummy Tee as well as Philadelphia 76ers ticket sale. They also host event nights such as Bingo Night and this year’s mega-hit Lip Sync Battle.
In addition, they have Local Logan Days with local establishments such as Classy Cow Food Joint, Papa Luigi’s, and coming up in May, Cicontes’ Pizza for a Purpose which donates $3 for any large pizza ordered throughout the entire month of May.
