SWEDESBORO — Trinity “Old Swedes” Historic Preservation Foundation’s annual BBQ dinner and wine tasting will be held at Rode’s Barn located on 533 Kings Highway in Woolwich Township from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.
The dinner includes BBQ chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw, mac & cheese, cornbread, homemade desserts, tea, coffee and domestic beer for just $35 per person. Musical entertainment will be provided, and diners can eat-in or take-out.
A tasting flight led by a local certified sommelier is offered for $30 starting at 5 p.m.
Jessica will lead the group on a virtual journey to sample wines from five different regions of the globe, starting with light-bodied wines and progressing to bolder blends, to include Chianti, Pinot Noir, Bordeaux, Shiraz and Pinotage.

Trinity Church was founded as a Swedish Lutheran parish in 1703 with the current structure being completed in 1784 when the congregation chose to affiliate with the Episcopal Church of America.
