WOOLWICH TWP. — US Elite MidAtlantic North 13U ended their season on a high note, defeating the Egg Harbor Twp Eagles 13U, 3-2, to win the Tri-State Elite (TSE) Baseball League National Division Championship.
The team finished 26-12, with a .684 winning percentage, and captured their second TSE title in five straight playoff appearances. Along the way, they won their first tournament at the South Jersey Battle of the Hill, made bracket play in each tournament and set a team record with 228 stolen bases.
Off the field, the players gave back to their community by cleaning up roadways in Woolwich Township and honoring deceased veterans during the 15th Annual Wreaths of Remembrance Ceremony in Monroe Township. “This group worked hard to exceed their goals and made an impact beyond baseball,” said the coaches.
