REPAUPO UMC HAPPENINGS

HOMECOMING/BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY

REPAUPO — The Repaupo United Methodist Church, 770 Paulsboro Road, will be celebrating a “Homecoming/Back to Church” service on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Following the service, we will have a time of fellowship in the Social Hall with refreshments and the opportunity to visit with our new pastor, The Rev. Dr. A. Edward “Doc” Maddison.

Rev. Dr. Maddison comes to us with 42 years of pastoral ministry experience. His resume includes hospital and nursing home chaplain, Clinical Christian Counselor in private practice, 20 years of teaching psychology at Camden County Community College and 25 years in the Woodbury public school system.

In addition to his pastoral and academic work, he has a great love for music, being blessed to sing as a chorister with Opera Philadelphia for forty-three seasons. His messages on Sunday mornings are both entertaining and inspiring.   We hope you will join us to worship together.

TRUNK OR TREAT

Our annual “Trunk or Treat” will be held at the church on Monday, Oct. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.  It includes decorated cars in the parking lot as well as activities and Bible displays inside the Social Hall.

Bring out the kids and enjoy this unique “Trunk or Treat” experience.

FRUITFUL PASTURES FOOD PANTRY

Our “Fruitful Pastures” Food Pantry is open at the church the first Saturday of every month from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for those who need food assistance. Ours is a choice pantry in which those who come can “shop” for the items that they need most.
