Northbound Route 130 overnight lane closures in Logan

LOGAN TWP. — Route 130 northbound is scheduled to have overnight lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. between Island Road/Main Street and I-295, as pavement preservation projects begin in Logan Township.

The lane closures will continue Monday through Friday nights at the same time through the end of the year. Once work is completed in the northbound direction, work will continue in the southbound direction.

The project is expected to be completed in summer 2026. The closure is necessary to replace concrete roadway slabs.

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution and expect delays when driving through the work zone.

The work is part of $7.1 million pavement preservation project on approximately 2.3 miles of Route 130 in both directions between Island Road/Main Street and I-295.

Portable variable message signs are being used to provide advance notification of traffic pattern changes associated with the work. The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.

Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT’s traffic information website www.511nj.org for real-time travel information, and for NJDOT news follow us on X (Twitter) @NewJerseyDOT, on the NJDOT Facebook page, or Instagram @NewJersey.DOT.
