SWEDESBORO – Councilperson Shaun Booked has resigned from his seat on the Swedesboro Boro Council, effective Feb. 26. The Borough Council made this official at their March 2 Council meeting.
The vacancy has been filled by Heather Samples as of March 12. Booker’s term was set to end in 2027. Samples previously served as Swedesboro Planning Board Secretary.
An ordinance establishing no parking along portions of Kings Highway has also been approved. According to the ordinance, no parking areas on Kings Highway include all of the driveway aprons throughout the downtown area.
