50th Annual Civil War Living History Weekend, Oct. 12 & 13

MULLICA HILL — Fall is here once again and it’s time to celebrate with the 50th annual Civil War living history weekend on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tour Civil War camps and experience life as it was. Free lantern tour of the camps will be held Saturday night only 7 p.m. at the Union camp.

Hear our history and converse with soldiers who relive one of the darkest times in our nation’s history in hopes that future generations will not repeat the mistakes of the past. Medical and weapons will be on display with bonfires and more.

Visit shops on Main Street for open house specials and refreshments. There will be free games and kid’s activities, music, food trucks, and fall festivities. Build a scarecrow with the Harrison Township Rec Department.

Stop into Farmhouse Design to celebrate 19 years in town. Free pumpkin painting for the kids, refreshments and live music. Many shops will be open with all new goods for the season.

Visit the dressing room on Main Flossie’s Haven and Mademoiselle macaron for that special sweet treat. Blue Plate will be open and serving up deliciousness.
