SCHOENER – Gladys Mary Schoener, (nee Hitzelberger – Williams), age 89 of New Bern, NC, died April 17. Born on January 1, 1924 in Woodbury. Mrs. Schoener was predeceased by her husband, George W. Schoener in December 1992. She moved to Sebastian, FL in January 1995 from Swedesboro and then moved to McCarthy Court, NC.
Surviving are her sons, George E. Williams of Pomona, MO and Wayne L. Williams and wife Bridget of River Bend, NC; three granddaughters, Lori Eisenhardt of Felton, DE, Vicki Elwell of Smyrna, DE and Ali Marie Williams of River Band, NC; her grandson, Andrew James Williams of River Band, NC; two great-grandsons, Frederick Elwell of Monroeville and Edward Elwell of Elmer; her great-granddaughter, Aubrey Elizabeth Williams of River Band, NC; and her great-great-grandson, Owen Elwell of Elmer.
Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
