NICOLE BARBARA, daughter of Gerald and Marie Barbara of Woolwich Township.School Activities: Four-year performer in Kingsway Musicals, singer in the freshmen, senior and Gospel choirs, manager for the boys’ volleyball team, member of Student Council, Biology Club, and the prom committee. Nicole is also a member of National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society.
Out of School Activities: Nicole enjoys playing soccer, running, and writing songs. She has played soccer for the East Greenwich Soccer Association, is a frequent participant in 5Ks, and has volunteered with Samaritan’s Purse to rebuild the Jersey Shore.
Honors/Awards: President of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, black belt in Tang Soo Do, and student of Character at Kingsway in ninth grade.
Future Plans: Nicole plans to study physical therapy at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and to receive a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania. She hopes to be a positive influence on children who have been set back in life and need some help moving forward.
LINDSAY CONTARINO, daughter of Thomas and Diane Contarino of Mickleton.
- School Activities: Cheerleading, S.U.R.E., Anti-Bullying Club, S.T.A.F.F., P.A.W.S., Circle of Friends, Student Council, and Interact.
Out of School Activities: Lindsay assists in teaching Sunday school with her mother and grandmother, marketing internship for Varsity Spirit Brands as a “Varsity It Girl,” and assistant coach of Kingsway Elite Sophomores.
Honors/Awards: Captain of cheerleading squad junior and senior years, overall top leader at NCA camp, All-American Cheerleader, and Homecoming Queen.
Future Plans: Lindsay plans to attend either Rutgers New Brunswick or Towson University as an education major and eventually would like to earn a master’s degree.
