Summer Swimming in Mullica Hill

raccoon valley webMULLICA HILL — Nestled in the heart of Mullica Hill at the intersection of Church Street and Eric Roads, Raccoon Valley Swim Club is one of the oldest swim clubs in Gloucester County.

Their summer swim season begins Memorial Day weekend and goes through Labor Day. There you will find a nice, relaxing way to spend your summer days at the Valley with three pools as well as a picnic area and playground for the kids.

One of the highlights of the summer swim club is the LEARN TO SWIM program. The club offers eight weeks of lessons beginning in mid-June for both swim club members and non-members.

Under the direction of Karen Tubb, the Raccoon Valley Swim Team coach, the swim lesson program is a very popular summer program. Many of the “graduates” have gone on to swim successfully at summer swim programs as well as at local high schools.

The program offers lessons for children as young as three years old. Learning to swim and becoming comfortable in the water is an important life skill. They have been offering the swim lesson program for over 25 years.

The group sessions are four to 30 minute lessons over a one week period. You can register your children for only one week or all eight weeks that the lesson program is offered.

In addition to group swim lessons, they offer private swim lessons and can accommodate any age, including adults.

At press time, they do not have a waiting list for full membership.
