SWEDESBORO — It’s the most wonderful time of the year once again.
During this busy and quite hectic season it is important to take a moment and reflect on how we can spread the holiday cheer to those in need. One great and simple way to do this is through making holiday cards that are suitable for children.
Since 2015 Audrey Pachuta and Anabelle McGowan, two local high school students, have been running this collection and have received nearly 8,000 cards in the past four years. Help them to make this the biggest year yet and achieve their goal of 3,000 cards to bring to ten hospitals throughout our area.
Cards can be donated in the collection bin at Botto’s Market. Students from Kingsway, Swedesboro Woolwich School District, GCIT, and other area schools will additionally be designing cards in their schools in December.
All cards are due no later than Friday, Dec. 20. Thank you for the continued support from our community, all help is greatly appreciated.
Happy Holidays.
