EAST GREENWICH SHRED EVENT, JULY 18

MICKLETON — Reduce clutter by cleaning out and purging your personal records and still protect yourself from identity theft while being green by taking part in the East Greenwich Township Shred Event on Saturday, July 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Municipal Building at 1589 Democrat Road, Mickleton.

Bring your bags and boxes of paper to be shredded. An experienced operator form DocuVault will move the disposal bins to a highly secure, mobile shredding unit where your confidential material will be destroyed as you watch. One hundred percent of the shredded paper is recycled..

Because of the current situation with COVID-19 we ask that residents follow these rules:

  • Keep windows and doors closed at all times
  • Stay in your vehicle at all times.
  • Place material in the trunk or truck bed. Workers will remove items from your vehicle. They will not enter the interior of your vehicle.

Only paper from residents will be accepted, No businesses.  Please no plastic bags or metal including 3-ring binders and binder clips. Staples and paper clips are accepted.

We will also accept electronics for recycling. No TVs larger than 60 inch.

The event is held by the East Greenwich Twp. Environmental Commission and Green Team in cooperation with the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders, R. Damminger Chair.For more information contact Fred Hills at fred.hills@comcast.net.
