Sept. 8: Officers responded to the area of Oldman’s Creek Road and Beckett Road for a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash. While investigating the accident, the suspect vehicle drove past the scene and continued to Cherrywood Lane. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on the suspect vehicle, and later arrested the 59 year old Logan Twp. male for Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to a family member with a pending court date.

Sept. 10: Officers responded to the parking lot of 525 Beckett Road for a suspicious incident report. It was reported that the caller approached the vehicle, a light blue SUV, to check on the driver, and when approached, the caller stated they observed the driver committing a lewd act. The vehicle then left the area.

Sept. 11: Officers responded to High Hill Farms development for a stolen bike report. It was reported that the white Mongoose bike was stolen sometime overnight from the property. The bike is valued at approx. $150.

Sept. 11: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 130. While conducting the stop, K9 Tyson was utilized and provided indication to Officers that Narcotics were present in the vehicle. Upon conducting a search, Officers located several hypodermic needles and other paraphernalia used for heroin. The driver, a 30 year old male from Linwood, PA, and the passenger, a 58 year old male from Trainor, PA, were arrested and charged with Possession of Hypodermic Needles and Possession of Paraphernalia. They were released with a pending court date.

Sept. 12: Officers responded to a Bridgeport residence for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported that sometime overnight, someone “keyed” a vehicle on the property, causing approximately $250 in damage.

Sept. 14: Officers were dispatched to UPS on Birch Creek Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that several packages containing Apple products had been opened and the contents removed. The value of the items stolen is unknown at this time.

Sept. 15: Officers responded to Arlington Blvd. for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported that while the suspect and victim were traveling to work, an argument ensued. This resulted in the suspect exiting the vehicle, and kicking the vehicle several times, leaving dents. The value of the damage is unknown at this time.

Sept. 16: Officers responded to Paulsboro Road for a motor vehicle crash, with the vehicle leaving the scene. After locating the vehicle nearby, Officers arrested the 68 year old Villas, NJ, man for Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to a third party with a pending court date.

Sept. 26: Officers responded to Camping World on Heron Drive for a suspicious person report. It was reported to Officers that an employee was checking an RV on their lot and observed damage to it. Further checking, the employee found an individual sleeping in the RV. When approached, the individual left the area but was quickly located by Officers. The individual provided false information about his identity and the incident. The 38 year old Greensborough, NC man was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief, Burglary, and Hindering Apprehension. He was released on a summons with a pending court date.

Sept. 27: Officers responded to a Bridgeport residence for a report of an Assault. It was reported that the homeowner heard loud noises outside the residence and asked the suspect to be quiet. A brief altercation then ensued with the suspect punching the victim in the ribs and leaving the area. The suspect’s identity was discovered and the victim was advised on the court process.

Sept. 28: Officers responded to Uptown Bakeries on High Hill Road for a Trespassing complaint. It was reported that a former employee was hiding in the bathroom, refusing to leave the business. Officers were able to escort the 22 year old Camden female from the business. She was charged with Trespassing and released with a future court date.
