SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR OCTOBER

Patrice Martin

PATRICE MARTIN, daughter of Ed and Patti Martin of Woolwich Township.

School Activities:  Musical, Play, Choir, Renaissance Program, Student Ambassadors, Student Council General Member, NJDFL competitor, Interact Club, and Biology Olympiad.

Out of School Activities:  Outside of school, Patrice takes weekly performing arts classes at Swedesboro Performing Arts Academy. At SPAA, she spends about six hours a week in vocal, dance, and theatre classes. In the summer, Patrice volunteers at Swedesboro-Woolwich Little Theater as a camp counselor for their children’s theater program.  She is also involved with local community events such as Night to Shine (a prom event for children with special needs). Currently, Patrice is working two jobs during weekends and virtual school days.

Honors/Awards:  Vice President of the Play (2020-2021), Secretary of the Play (2019-2020), National Honor Society inductee, Tri-M Music Honor Society inductee, and World Language National Honor Society inductee.

Future Plans: After graduation, Patrice hopes to attend James Madison University to pursue a degree in speech-language pathology. She also plans to seek a master’s degree after her undergrad education is completed.

Camryn O’Rourke

CAMRYN O’ROURKE, daughter of Marty and Denise O’Rourke of Woolwich Township.

School Activities:  Girls Soccer, Swim Team, Girls Lacrosse, Foreign Language Club, and Interact Club.

Out of School Activities: Club Soccer, and YPATT (your place at the table) volunteering.

Honors/Awards:  Class President, Student Council Corresponding Secretary, National Honor Society, and World Language National Honor Society. 

Future Plans:  Camryn plans on going to a four year university to major in communications, with a focus in journalism.  She also plans to travel the world and blog about her experiences in foreign countries.
