Haley Blair, Miss Gloucester County and a Woolwich Township resident, is working collaboratively with Daley Life Celebration Studios to launch a new tribute project.
The inspiration came from the recent passing of beloved resident Wendy Beckett, who had made a wonderful impact in her community. This Tribute, Ten Acts of Kindness- In Memory of Wendy Beckett, is set to be the first of many honors. Blair understood the impact Wendy Beckett made as someone who worked hard to help those around her.
This Kindness Project is a ripple effect in memory of a great life well-lived. The concept is simple: pay it forward by doing 10 random acts of kindness. You can think about the person for whom you are paying tribute as you do the kindness, or even leave an anonymous note (Act of Kindness in Memory of).
This is also a way children can heal; families can make a point of discussing how they honored a life with each other.
Haley is a NJ Be Strong State Representative and a seventh grade student at Kingsway Middle School.
