May 4: Officers responded to the Holiday Inn on Pureland Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that catalytic converters were stolen from two Amazon vans that were parked overnight in the lot. Value of the Theft is estimated at $2,400.
May 5: Officers responded to an Old Orchard residence for a Trespassing complaint. It was reported that a female and her juvenile daughter entered the home without permission and began searching the residence. Upon the homeowner’s arrival, the woman left the residence. The 42 year old Logan Twp. woman was charged on a summons for Trespassing.
May 10: Officers responded to the Wawa on Center Square Rd. for a suspicious vehicle complaint, with the driver appearing unconscious. Upon investigating, Officers made contact with the driver and in plain view, observed several prescription pills in a bag. After identifying these pills, Officers arrested the 48-year-old Elmer man and charged him with Possession of Prescription Pills. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.
May 15: Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on High Hill Road. While investigating the crash, Officers determined the one driver to be intoxicated. The 39-year-old Woolwich Twp. man was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to a third party pending a future court date.
May 22: Officers responded to the Wawa on Center Square Road for a shots fired call. Through investigating, it was learned that someone fired several shots leaving evidence behind. It does not appear at this time that anyone was struck. The incident is being investigated by the Detective Unit and the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.
May 23: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on I-295. While conducting the stop, Officers determined the driver to be intoxicated. The 41-year-old Merchantville, NJ man was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples. He was processed and turned over to a third party pending a future court date.
May 25: Officers responded to JP Petroleum on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime over the past week, suspects stole the catalytic converters from two vehicles. The value of these converters is estimated at $1,852.
May 25: Officers responded to the Rite Aid on Village Center Drive for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect entered the store and stole several over-the-counter medicines and left without paying. Value of the items stolen is estimated at $320.
May 25: Officers responded to the parking lot at 525 Beckett Road for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported that the victim had two of his tires damaged. Estimated value of the damage is $300.
May 27: Patrols responded to an Eagle Farms residence for a Theft report. It was reported that a suspect that is known to the resident, talked his way inside and stole a pair of sneakers worth $60 and an acoustic guitar worth $140. The 31-year-old Norwood, PA man was charged on a
summons for Theft.
May28: Officers responded to Camping World on Heron Drive for a Burglary and Theft report. It was reported that the suspect broke a door and entered the facility, stealing an unknown number of tools. The incident has been turned over to the Detective Unit.
May 30: Officers attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Road. While attempting this stop, the driver of the suspect vehicle attempted to elude Officers to avoid the stop. Officers terminated the stop and investigated into the driver of the vehicle. As a result of the investigation, Officers charged a 24-year-old Haddon Twp. man with Eluding.
May 30: Officers responded to U-Haul on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that on May 27, 2022, someone entered the property and stole three catalytic converters from vehicles on the property. The value of these converters totaled approx. $8,500.
