June 1: Officers responded to Mitsubishi Fuso on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime in May, someone entered the property and stole the catalytic converter off one of the vehicles. The converter is valued at $600.

June 3: Officers responded to the Wawa on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that an employee stole approx. $1,000 while working at the gas pumps. As a result of the investigation, Officers charged the 22-year-old Woolwich man with Theft. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.

June 4: Officers responded to Costco Logistics on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime overnight, a box truck was stolen from the property which contained multiple Samsung appliances, mattresses, and a recliner. The truck valued at approx. $80,000 was recovered on 6/5/22; however, the items inside valued at approx. $11,500 were not recovered.

June 5: Officers responded to a Beckett Road residence for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime overnight, someone entered the garage and stole three motorcycles. These motorcycles, a 2019 red Honda CBR500 (valued at $7,500), 2021 silver Ninja 400 (valued at $7,000) and a 2019 black Ninja 400 (valued at $4,500) were entered NCIC as stolen. The 2019 Ninja was recovered on 6/24/22.

June 4: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 130. During the stop, Officers determined the driver to be intoxicated. The 37-year-old Chester, PA woman was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. She was processed and released on a summons to a third party with a future court date.

June 7: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Road. Upon conducting the stop, Officers determined the driver to be intoxicated. The 38-year-old Blackwood man was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to a third party with a pending court date.

June 8: Officers responded to the Sri Ganapathi Temple on Paulsboro Road for a suspicious incident. It was reported that two females were knocking on the door to an adjacent residence and walking around the Temple. When Temple leaders would not answer the door, the suspect vehicle and other occupants fled the area.

June 9: Officers responded to Camping World on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that a motor home on the property had the catalytic converter stolen sometime over the last month. Value of the theft is estimated at $800.

June 11: Officers responded to Acme for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that on 6/10/22, the suspect entered Acme, filled the shopping cart with several cases of Red Bull energy drinks and left the store without paying (value of the Theft is estimated at $623). Officers investigating the incident identified the suspect as a 24-year-old Carney’s Point man. He was charged on a summons and released with a pending court date.

June 14: Officers responded to the Wawa on Center Square Road for a Theft of a vehicle report. It was reported that while the victim was inside the store, 2 suspects stole her vehicle from the parking lot. The vehicle is a gray 2017 Honda CRV. The vehicle is valued at approx. $20,000 and was entered NCIC as stolen. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside the vehicle.

June 19: Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle on Pedricktown Road. They observed the vehicle to have several damaged windows. Patrols were then informed the vehicle had been reported stolen in Camden.

June 20: Officers responded to JB Hunt on Berkeley Drive for a suspicious person report. As Officers arrived in the area, they observed the male with no clothes on, asking for help. As Officers further investigated, it was learned that the male had just stolen a vehicle from an adjacent business, crashed into a tree, causing the vehicle to catch fire. The 41-year-old Carney’s Point man was arrested and charged with Theft. He was released on a summons with a pending court date.

June 21: Officers responded to Camping World for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime over the past several nights, someone entered the property and stole a catalytic converter off one of the motor homes. Value of the converter is estimated at $2,800.

June 26: Officers responded to the Gastrol on Center Square Road for a Robbery. It was reported that two suspects brandished a firearm, took money from the register, then took money from the attendant. The suspects then fled the area. The suspects stole approx. $1,500. The incident has been turned over to the Detective Unit.

June 29: Officers responded to the Holiday Inn on Pureland Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that while landscapers were working on the property, someone stole a Red Max backpack leaf blower from the area. The blower was valued at $650.
