The Gloucester County Library System (GCLS) is excited to share with the community their new initiative GCLS Mobile. GCLS Mobile consists of a motorized tricycle that extends library service out into the community. At a job fair, GCLS Mobile would enable library staff to assist the public in editing and printing résumés, access GCLS online databases, apply on-site to online job applications and loan out career-focused library materials. At a community event, attendees could charge their phones, learn about library programs, resources and apply for and receive a library card.
GCLS invites the community to keep a look out for the new addition to the GCLS Library. GCLS Mobile was grant funded by both the New Jersey State Library and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
