KINGSWAY SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

PEDRO AISA

Pedro Aisa, son of Miguel Angel and Ana Curiel of Mickleton.

School Activities:  Business Leadership Academy, USA Bio Olympiad (VP Junior year and President Senior year), Chess Club (VP Junior and Senior years), Boys’ Tennis (Sophomore and Junior years), KRHS Ambassador (Junior), Key Club (Senior), Cultures Club (Senior), Stage Crew (Junior), Tenor Bass Choir Club (Senior), Asian Cultures Club (Senior), Model UN (Junior), Mock Trial (Junior), and American Sign Language Club (Junior).

Out of School Activities:  DECA (Freshman-Senior years), Service Learning (Sophomore-Junior year), Tennis (Sophomore-Senior year), and community service at a local theater.

Honors/Awards:  Superintendent’s List – All As (Freshman-Junior years), Spotlight Student (Freshman-Sophomore year), DECA States (Freshman-Junior year; 3rd place in regionals during Freshman and Junior year), Seal of Biliteracy for Spanish and French, World Language Honor Society (Secretary Junior year and President Senior year), and National Honor Society (Senior).

Future Plans:  After graduation, Pedro plans to go to college in order to get a Bachelor’s degree (potentially a Master’s degree later on). He also would like to either have his own business or join an existing one, so he can provide for his family. Pedro, finally, hopes to travel around the world to countries he has never been to with either his family or friends.

ELLA STEPHENSON

Ella Stephenson,daughter of Craig and Sumana Stephenson of Mickleton.

School Activities:  Throughout four years of high school, Ella has participated in field hockey, softball, and winter track. She has also been a member of the Student Council Executive Board as well as S.U.R.E. Club.

Out of School Activities:Member of Uprise Field Hockey Club.

Honors/Awards:  Field Hockey: Captain, Tri-County Conference Player of the Year, First Team All-State, First Team All-South Jersey, First Team All-Region, First Team All-Group 4, First Team All-Tri County Conference, South Jersey Group 4, and State Group 4 Champions.
Academic: National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, and Student Council Executive Board.

Future Plans:After high school, Ella will be furthering her academic and athletic career at Lehigh University playing Division 1 Field Hockey. Ella will be a part of the I.D.E.A.S. program at Lehigh where she will be studying engineering. Ella is excited to meet so many new people and hopes to find a career she is passionate about.
