March 3: Officers responded to Green Chef on Commerce Blvd. for a report of an assault. It was reported that two employees began to argue over work supplies. During this argument, one employee assaulted the other by punching him in the face multiple times. As a result, officers charged the 22-year-old Chester, PA man with Simple Assault. 

March 9: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the Heritage’s parking lot. While conducting the stop, it was determined the driver was under the influence. As a result, officers arrested and charged the 55-year-old Logan Twp. man with Driving Under the Influence. He was released to a third party with a future court date. 

March 10: Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect placed approximately $150 worth of items into a cart and left the store without paying. After investigating, officers arrested and charged the 53-year-old Logan Twp. woman with Shoplifting. She was processed and released on a summons with a future court date. 

March 13: Officers responded to Ocean’s First Bank on Village Center Drive for a forgery report. It was reported that the suspect cashed stolen checks from the victim in the amount of $14,268. The incident was turned over to the Detective Unit. After investigating, Detectives charged a   56-year-old Philadelphia man with Exhibiting a False Government Document, Theft and Forgery. The suspect is currently lodged in jail in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition for these charges. 

March 13: Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle in the Wawa parking lot on Center Square Road. It was learned that the vehicle was reported stolen from Massachusetts. During the investigation, officers located the suspects on Heron Drive. As a result, officers arrested and charged the 36-year-old Swedesboro woman with Receiving Stolen Property. She was processed and released on a summons with a future court date. 

March 14: Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Road for a shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect placed approximately $130 worth of items in a cart and left the store without paying. After the suspect was confronted, he left the items behind and fled the area. 

March 15: Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Road for a shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect placed approximately $729 worth of items in a cart and left the store without paying. After the suspect was confronted, she left the items behind and fled the area.

March 16: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Road. While conducting the stop, it was determined that the driver was under the influence. As a result, the 25-year-old Penns Grove man was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to a third party with a future court date. 

March 17: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 322. While conducting the stop, it was determined that the driver was under the influence. As a result, the 58-year-old Chester, PA man was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. He was also found to be an NCIC wanted person from Delaware County, PA. He was processed and turned over to the Salem County Jail as a Fugitive from Justice. 

March 18: Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Road for a shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect placed approximately $43 worth of items in a shopping cart and left the store without paying. Officers identified the suspect as a 33-year-old Philadelphia man and charged him with Shoplifting. Service on this complaint is still pending.
