Center for Aquatic Sciences: Tuesday, June 25, 1 p.m. We are adventurers! Learn how scientists explore the ocean and meet some sea creatures. Perhaps you will discover something new! Ages 6 and up. Registration is required, space is limited.

Star Spangled Songs – A Salute to Patriotic Music: Wednesday, June 19, 6:30 p.m. Join Phil Bruschi, an entertainer and educator, who will discuss the origins of many patriotic songs, their composers, and why they were written, while also singing many of them.  Registration is required. Stories of Slavery in New Jersey: Thursday, June 20, 6:30 p.m. Join us as we welcome well-known lecturer Rick Geffken as talks about the enslavement in the seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth centuries in a variety of small communities in New Jersey. Registration is required for this event. Participants can take part either virtually or in-person. This event is made possible with grant funds provided by the New Jersey Council of the Humanities.  

Archaeology and the Native Americans of the Delaware Valley: Thursday, June 27, 6:30 p.m. Join us as we welcome Dr. Richard Veit, Professor of Anthropology at Monmouth University, for a presentation on the lives of the Native Americans who resided in the Delaware Valley. Registration required. This presentation can be attended in-person at the library or virtually over Zoom. This presentation is made possible by a grant from the New Jersey Council on the Humanities.
