WOOLWICH TWP. — The Swedesboro-Woolwich Parks & Recreation Committee is winding down 2024 and planning lots of exciting activities for 2025.
Gingerbread Houses
Everyone is invited to come to the Woolwich Township Building and vote in Gingerbread House Decorating Contest & Food Drive! Entries for the contest are due by 11 a.m. on Dec. 6.
Entries will be on display for voting starting Monday, Dec. 9 and end on Friday, Dec. 13 at noon. Please remember to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to exchange for voting ballot. We will offer one night of evening voting on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Winners will be announced on Monday, Dec. 16.
To receive a ballot, please bring a canned good or non-perishable item to the Construction Office. If you wish to vote more than once, just bring another donation item.
Based on the voting results, there will be one prize awarded in each of the three age categories. For more information, visit the Woolwich Township website.
Movie Night
All are welcome to join us on Friday, Dec. 13 for our Annual Holiday Movie Night at the Margaret C. Clifford School. This year we will showing Prep and Landing.
Please note this movie is only 22 minutes so we will have additional activities for the children. Water and popcorn will be provided. Bring a blanket if you want to sit on the floor.
All children must be accompanied by one parent. The movie starts at 7 p.m.
Bowling Party
Swedesboro Woolwich Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a Family Holiday Bowling Party on Monday, Dec. 30 at the Wood Lanes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To sign up, please go to our Facebook page and look for this event.
Depending on lane availability, we may accept cash at the door the day of the event.
76ers Game
Tickets are on sale now for the Philadelphia 76ers Game on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025. The 76ers are playing the Washington Wizards.
