Calling all ARTSTS
We are looking for creative people to join a group of like-minded creatives. Do you have art supplies packed away in a closet just waiting for “inspiration”? Or are you an active artist who would appreciate the opportunity to work and mingle with artists from the neighborhood.
All participants are responsible for bringing their own supplies. We will supply the space to meet which will include tables, chairs, access to water and restrooms.
This is a great chance to reignite your passion for art or start a new one. Beginners are welcome.
Before we search for the right location, we would need to know approximately how many people are interested. Please email Jackie.gordon31@yahoo.com or call Jackie at 609.471.2275 to express your thoughts and ask questions.
Educational Lecture on Hearing Loss
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! May is better hearing month!
To recognize this important event, the Evangelical United Methodist Church and the EG Senior Committee are hosting an educational lecture on hearing loss. All members of the community are welcome.
Hearing specialists from Miracle Ear will be on site on Thursday, May 8 at 10 a.m. to discuss the facts surrounding hearing loss and its effects on the brain. You will have the opportunity to see inside of your ear and can even receive a free hearing screening to see if your hearing is normal or not!
This is a free information session, not a sales presentation, co-sponsored by the Evangelical UMC and the EG Senior Committee as a service to residents in the community. There is plenty of free parking, and coffee and refreshments will be provided. We look forward to seeing you!
The church is located at 14 W. Cohawkin Road and there is an elevator for handicap access into the building. The church office is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 856-423-0289 or email office@eumc.church.
