CARNEYS POINT — The Woman’s Club of Penns Grove-Carneys Point, will be having their third annual Garden Mart Festival on Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dunn’s Park in Carneys Point.
The Festival offers something for everyone and promises to be even better this year. It will once again feature beautiful hanging baskets and potted flowers perfect for Mother’s Day, as well as bedding plants for your Spring planting.
There will be games and creative activities where kids can have fun while parents enjoy browsing through information tables set up by local nonprofit organizations.
Go back in time shopping in Granny’s Attic or take home some delicious cakes or cookies from the homemade “Bake Sale” table. The proceeds from these sales will support various charitable and community projects.
DJ Larry VanAtta will be providing music, along with other local entertainment. Local vendors and crafters will be selling their items also. And don’t forget to stop for a bite from a variety of food trucks on site.
A 50/50 Raffle will be held with proceeds used to support our scholarship fund. Last year’s winner took home over $1,000. Tickets will be available for purchase in advance, as well as at the Festival. The drawing will take place at 2 p.m. on the day of the event.
