Kingsway Live: Totally Unqualified, where pageant, performance, and class meets community. Kingsway Live! 2025 was an unforgettable success, being the best yet.
As a sold out event, this charity event not only was a hit, it was a magical experience depicting the immense talent, dedication, and energy of everyone involved.
At the end of the performance, our senior boys were celebrated, and our King of Kingsway was announced. But first, let’s recap the event.
From opening dances to videos about the jobs they got fired from, these boys lip synced, answered questions, strutted, and performed their ways into the audience’s hearts. This performance was one of the best not only for the amount of effort made by the boys, but also by the extent of the production, especially with the amazing lighting done by Mason Corey.
Choreographers Sophie Bell, Liv Neuman, and Sofia Richardson put together the performance, spending hours creating and teaching the boys. Julianna Jones, Haley Brown, and Brielle Bucs, the fantastic hosts, brought the show to life with their enthusiastic energy.
In terms of behind-the-scenes work, stage managers, Emma Pieters and Ariana Velez, ensured everything ran smoothly behind the curtains. And last, but certainly not least, student council advisors and counselors at Kingsway, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Corcoran, oversaw the entire project. Without their dedication and support, the event would not have been possible.
Now for the 12 senior boys. This event was not only an amazing memory, but definitely the best send off for their seniors. Now with lifelong memories, friends, and experiences, these boys will carry all the hard work, effort, and passion they put into this performance past the doors of Kingsway.
At the end of the performance, awards and honors were presented. The charity competition winner, or the “Biggest Heart” recipient, was Zach Grubb, who had nearly $4,000, which was raised by Kingsway school students, donated to the charity of his choice: Camp No Worries. Other performance awards included People’s Choice – Teddy Oberg, Best Strut – Shaam Jackson escorted by Alayna Riepen, and the Best Lip Sync – Dom Hibbs and Kyle Nordone.
Now for the titles of Mr. Kingsway. The second runner up was Zach Grubb, first runner up Kyle
Nordone, and the ultimate Mr. Kingsway was Teddy Oberg.
These boys not only have impacted Kingsway, but our community as well. We will miss them, and their performance will always be remembered. To Kingsway Live: 2025, thank you to all those who made this event the magical night it was.
May you continue to inspire and be totally unqualified.
