New Coffee Shop Opens in Mullica Hill

MULLICA HILL — Bells Grace Coffee & Cafe has opened at 32 S. Main St., Mullica Hill, offering coffee house fare.

The owner, Hazel Dilsaver, has had a long-standing ambition to return to the food industry after owning a tea room and a home furnishings and gift shop. She has been part of the business scene in Mullica Hill for nearly 25 years at Farm House Design.

Dilsaver mentioned that many years ago, when she was about to reopen her tea room, she found out she was expecting her third child and considered proceeding, but the building’s pipes burst the next day, which led her to delay her plans. Now, 11 years later, she has decided to open the coffee house on Main Street and aims to offer traditional coffee house items with a new approach.

The menu will include fresh plates of food, salads, soups, sandwiches, bagels, muffins, avocado toast with variations, and morning sweets. A few starters will also be available on the menu.

“Everything will be elevated, with in-house baked bread, homemade pickled onions, sandwiches served with cornichons, microgreens, and high-quality ingredients,” she stated. Coffee will be provided by local artisan KMO Roasters, with espresso, lattes, and iced beverages on the menu. Additionally, spritzers and mocktails will be offered.

The interior design will be refreshed, making the rooms lighter and softer to create an inviting space for all visitors.

“We are focusing on building a team to deliver excellent customer service, aiming to greet customers warmly. Our goal is to provide good food and coffee.”

In the upcoming weeks, efforts will be made to refine the menu. Once perfected, workshops and rental spaces for parties will be hosted, with bookings starting in June.
