Our volunteers look forward to working with Dan and are eager to develop fresh ideas for the future under his collaborative management style.
Many thanks to Gerry Siglow, our Chairman for decades, as he begins his well-deserved retirement. His long service grew King’s Things from a small church closet into the 501(3)c we know today with two store fronts, a thriving food pantry, and an impactful benevolence program.
Gerry has already committed to sharing his vast knowledge and experience with Dan to help him transition into his new position. Gerry’s retirement is effective June 30, 2025.
On Tuesday, July 1, a Reorganizational Meeting will be held in Trinity’s Parish Hall at 7 p.m. At that time, it is expected to adopt updates to the By-Laws of King’s Things as well as elect other officer positions. After that, board meetings will be held on a quarterly basis
If you are interested in becoming more involved with King’s Things, please reach out and leave your information with the Thrift Store.
Once again, congratulations to Chairman Dan Stephens, and thank you to Gerry Siglow for their dedication to the mission of King’s Things, “To feed and clothe the needy.”
