MULLICA HILL — Main Street Market in Mullica Hill is back for a second season. It’s summertime and the produce is flowing in our garden state.
Stroll Main Street and visit farm stands, crafters, and the many downtown shops and restaurants. Farmers bringing the freshest produce and fruit, handmade goods and live music starts off the morning at 10 a.m.
The events are the second Saturday of every month, June to August, and concludes the second weekend in October with fall festival. All events are rain or shine.
This is our second year running the event, said Hazel Dilsaver, owner of MH Events the host of the Market. “We wanted to do something to help our farmers and support them. It’s a way for the smaller specialty farms to get their name out.
“We don’t charge them much to come here, so to run the market we sell the reusable market bags and t-shirts. We also invite sponsors like Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group to sponsor the event and join us each month,’ Dilsaver said.
Main St. businesses host open house events as well, like make your own bouquet at Mullica Hill Floral, free drip coffee and music at Bella Grace Coffee and Café, and kids event area at Mademoiselle Macaron and Taylor Vaughn.
Located at 41 S. Main, Mademoiselle Macaron and Taylor Vaughn will host a farm truck photo spot, free bounce house for kids, yard games, bubbles and fun. Thank you to both businesses for sponsoring these events.
Stop into one of our new boutiques like Taylor Vaughn or Wild Roots. Bella Grace Coffee and Cafe is Hazel Dilsaver’s newest venture, bringing a fresh take on coffee. A touch sweet and definitely artisanal.
“We make all our own syrups for the coffee [and] have a local roaster, and everything is as fresh as possible.” Bella Grace also welcomed Brainstorm Books to the second floor for a pop up location.
